Steven Haddad, MD – Illinois Bone & Joint Institute

This doctor was recommended by a friend of mine for ankle surgery. I was involved in a motorcycle accident and was looking for a good doctor that could ensure that I would be walking soon and without any long-​term negative effects. When I called in to schedule an appointment, I was told that since this was a car accident, the Doctor would not be seeing me since he does not get involved in lawsuits. I said that I have medical insurance and would gladly pay cash for service as that is most important to me. His staff informed me that this was irrelevant as he does not want to spend his time answering any kind of subpoenas. Irregardless of the fact that I was looking for a good doctor and have a medical condition that he can help with (and can pay for his services), he still feels that wasting potential unbillable hours trumps his medical service to clients. With this kind of lack of devotion to medicine and his patients, I would steer clear of this doctor!!! Furthermore, when I asked if I could speak to the doctor directly, his staff informed me that the doctor does not do patient calls… Further proof of his devotion to billing over medicine.
