Tres Bien Nail Salon

No wifi and I didn’t get cell service. Massage chairs weren’t comfortable and the place is a bit dated. People were friendly and I got in right away but probably won’t be back.

Place is clean and good ventilation. Not the most modern place I’ve been to. At my first visit I brought my young daughter with me for her first mani pedi. The ladies were very nice and accommodating. My no chip mani and pedi were good. Not great just good. Came back for a second time alone and got a different girl, Angela, and she did a fantastic job. I couldn’t stop staring at my manicure! Will be coming back to her!

I’ve gone here a couple times and each time I’ve had the no chip mani done. Service is great and my nails have come out great. The only reason for the 4 stars is that they are pricier than other places I’ve gone to. The good thing is that I do receive a discount due to where I work, however the discount is the same amount that I pay for at other salons for the same service.

I have to say that I have come to Trey Bien many times, and I’ve always been satisfied. The service, kindness, clientele, offerings, and professionalism are fantastic. I make it a point to come there weekly and will continue to do so. For a local salon, it can’t be beat! Trey Bien!

My wife and I both get service from Tres Bien in Glenview. They are always courteous and the work has been very good. It helps to make an appointment as they sometimes get busy, but it’s not necessary.

what a mess! came with my sister for a 5:30 pm appointment, we both wanted no chip manis and regular pedis, an hr and a half was plenty of time for both. when I say we were rushed, that would be an understatement! we were treated like cattle, they got frustrated when i didnt pick a nail and toe color in 3 minutes an rushed through both the mani and pedi. it was the opposite of relaxing. and the mani was sloppy, leaving traces of the color on my cuticles which is impossible to get rid of since it’s a no chip.

I received a gift card to Tres Bien Nail Salon for a mani/​pedi and was very excited until I was told when I got there that I would have to get my hands and feet done at the same time because they didn’t have enough time to finish. I felt as if they were rushing, they didn’t file my nails evenly (which bugged me when I realized it at home), and they didn’t have any entertainment such as a TV (maybe my expectations are too high). Also, the massage chairs weren’t that good. With that being said, I honestly won’t be coming back to get my nails done because simply I’ve had better elsewhere.

This place is great for a manicure and spa pedicure. I paid $ 45. They have tons of colors to pick from. I like that they have the new trendy colors in a separate section. I know some places are a little cheaper, but they do a great job. Plus, the spa chairs with the massage actually work! I have experienced many places where it’s just a comfortable chair. Also, they do parafin treatments– this is a nice bonus. Another thing, the manager greets everyone by name when they enter the salon. Looks like they have lots of returning clients.

Extremely over priced! Rip off not coming back here. Charge double for polish change then at other salons!

My friend and I wanted to get our nails done and without knowing the prices made an appointment here. We were not seated next to each other even though our appointment was made together. The prices are so high! $ 45 for mani/​pedi. The color selection was very nice but the experience wasn’t. For that high of a price I expected something amazing. My cuticles were not cut at all on my toes and hands. Then on my hands they painted OVER my cuticles. They also left a bunch of nail polish on my skin, they didnt clean around the nail. For my friend they didnt buff her feet enough and she still had a bunch of dead/​peeling skin left on her toes and heel. She wasn’t very happy with the manicure either. My friend and I were the only ones who didnt get a massage once we sat down at the nail drying spot. The lady who sat down right after us recieved one. Not to mention my fan wasn’t even turned on, they walked away right after I sat down. I had to switch seats to dry my nails. When paying with a card they tell you the price and ask if you would like to leave tip. Personally I don’t like that, I think tip is ment for a very good job, not automatic when you get your nails done. They set their price and that’s what I will be paying unless I am happy with the service. When I said no to tip, the lady tried to pull a guilt trip on me and made it a huge deal that I didn’t leave one.
Never coming here again!

My experiences here have been a bit inconsistent. I have gone on Sunday afternoons, and the overall experience is great. If you come close to closing time, you might feel a bit rushed. I went for a spa pedicure the other day, and the overall experience was good. I was able to make a same-​day appointment for 6 pm (they close at 7 pm) and arrived ten minutes early.
The receptionist barely gave me time to pick a color. She then introduced me to my nail tech and we went to work. The nail tech acted like she never gave a spa pedicure before. She was asking her co-​worker in Korean about which products to use and in what order. The pedicure went well otherwise and included an awesome massage. Polish was perfect, and my feet were scrubbed to perfection.
The odd thing occurred as I was finishing up my nail polish. The techs were saying loudly, «time to go home» and were packing up. This was understandable, but I could tell my nail tech was ready to go. While the person who was in the salon at the same time received a long massage at the drying station, I received a half-​assed 30 second shoulder rub. While I was drying, they turned the lights off on me. They realized I was there and turned them back on. Good thing it was just a pedicure since I left after being under the dryer for 5 minutes.
Will I come back? Probably yes but not close to closing.
