The positives: I didn’t pay for this room(work did, yay, so I had no say in where I stayed) but I was pleasantly surprised. Had a downstairs room that was newly renovated, updated décor(I mean looked and smelled new) and was very clean. The negatives: front desk lady was quite rude, no smile or greeting, and barked orders at me as to what my name was and where to sign.(Found out over dinner the rest of my group got the sane welcome from her, glad it wasn’t just me!!) Also, I was looking forward to a soak in the hot tub. Went to the pool area to check it out and the water was cold! I went to the front desk to ask(trying to be hopeful that a good soak was still in my immediate future) if possibly it would get hotter if I turned the jets on. He said«I dunno why its cold, it was 104 this morning…’ so I waited while he checked and said it smelled like something had melted or was burned. *sigh* I understand there’s not much you can do right away if a maintenance problem happens, but it still sucks!(See my next review, the hotel I stayed at the next night had a broken spa as well, ugh, I swear, I have the worst luck!) I’ve just accepted that its now my job to call the hotel the day if check in to see if the hot tub is working, and if not,

Horrible. The girl at the front desk was very unpleasant. The rooms terrible. Shower head old, gross and dirty(posted picture). The microwave was gross and from 1978. I’ll never voluntarily stay here again.

Due to an unexpected unforeseen circumstance(weather/snow) during my travels, I decided to bunker down @ this refreshing lodging establishment & was pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness & affordability for the value of service received & would recommend this to anyone wanting a good hotel room for the price :)

I was actually very pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms. Well maintained. The room looked recently remodeled and freshly painted. Sometimes Days Inn really disappoints but not this time.

This hotel was disgusting! I don’t even know where to begin. It smelled, there were bugs, the roof was leaking, the comforter was dirty, the blanket on the bed had a cigarette burn in it, there was a big hole in the bathroom wall, and the carpet was completely drenched by the air conditioning unit because it leaks all over the place. I talked to the Manager, who didn’t seem to think there was a problem and told me that many people have been staying here for years, and never had a problem. The wi-fi does not work well either. Avoid this place like the plague!

Choose this hotel based on the other less desirable hotels in the area. Lobby had a weird stench as did the non smoking room we reserved. Walked in to the room and noticed a roach on the floor by door. I believe it had came in under the door since it wasn’t well sealed. My husband’s allergies immediately were a problem in this room. Front desk was very strict on their 2pm check in time. Pillows were great and a bonus to have a microwave and refrigerator even though they were very outdated.

this is less review than confession … i was having trouble getting on the motel’s WI-FI network and called the front desk for some help. what little i got from the guy that answered was terse and, frankly, not very helpful. he sounded middle eastern and, though, thank goodness, i didn’t say anything, my emotional response(translation«knee-jerk reaction») was not very kind(translation«inexcusably racist»). i hurried down to the office hoping i could get more face-to-face. he didn’t look rude, he mostly looked self-conscious and suggested i ask one of the two guests sitting in the lobby typing furiously away on their keyboards. both were very helpful and i managed, with their assistance, to get up and running. later, when i returned with my family for the continental breakfast, i watched as he motored around the small lobby making sure there was milk and juice and helping people make waffles. i watched how hard he worked at being a good host and seeing that his guests were comfortable and well cared for. i realized in retrospect he hadn’t been rude — he just didn’t know how to help and was uncomfortable. when we checked out, i made a point of shaking his hand and thanking him for his hospitality. i hate it when i have to learn the same life lessons over and over again.
