Stonewall’s is a rare blast from the past. The kitchen is filled with sweet, friendly ladies cooking seriously southern, home-​style fare.
For me, the spicy chicken sandwich is unbeatable. Everything is homemade, the sweet tea is out of this world, and all of it (as far as I can tell) tastes amazing!
Beware of limited hours and bring cash, but otherwise, find this place and dig in. It’s absolutely worth the trip outside of town, especially if you’re just passing through.
