Here for the first time in I don’t know how many years. I ordered their pork belly Cuban. It was outstanding. It consists of roasted pork belly, applewood smoked ham, melted Swiss, Serrano aioli, pickle and mustard on a hot presses roll. I would definitely order it again and visit several times to try their other meals. It’s a tiny bit in the pricey side for what you get, but spending and extra dollar or two once in awhile is not a big deal. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven’t already.

One of the best sandwich places in the area. My company orders from here a few times a month, and they are always super nice and accommodating. Country Deli definitely ranks at the top of our rotation list. My co-workers are always asking me when we’re ordering from them next. Tried a bunch of stuff, but my faves are the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich and Smoked Pork Sandwich. If you’re hungry, you can’t go wrong with Country Deli.

DELICIOUSDELICIOUSDELICIOUS! They put the Deli in Delicious! We have been getting great meat from them for a while. Always a good place to stop in and grab something before grilling. I decided to grab a sandwich the last time I stopped in and I was AMAZED! Tried the Tristrami, per the gentleman’s request, and I can honestly say it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! It will be a go to place every time that I am in town!

We used Country Catering for the food for my husbands 60th birthday party. We were very happy with the choice! From the start, Whany and Kelli were very helpful in choosing the menu and following up with me prior to the party. We added appetizers at the last minute with no problem. The food was delivered on time to our house, everything was hot, they provided chafing dishes, and most importantly the food was delicious. Tri tip, bbq chicken, amaaaazing potato salad, best baked beans I have every tasted, the dressing for the green salad was awesome Ranch dressing and the bread was perfect! We ate leftovers for 3 days! They were very professional to work with from beginning to end. I would definitely use them again for any future parties! Great job!

Went again recently forgetting about my previous review. This time around the salad was dismal. They have an arugula salad on the menu, I ordered and paid. After waiting for our food to arrive, they then tell me they don’t have arugula. I said that was fine, they brought me out the salad and it was just a bunch of lettuce and dressing. To top it off it was close to $ 40 for me and my husbands sandwich. That’s outrageous. I have to remember not to go there anymore.

wow, this place knows how to make a good sandwich. I came here 3 times this week and ordered 3 different sandwiches, all of them . Meatloaf sammy was the best, followed up with the tristrami, and the tritip bauru… actually all of them are tied for first! They also have a good selection of bottled soda(opted for virgils root beer). This place does not disappoint!

Tri-tip with chimichurri… need I say more?!? On a warm garlic ciabatta bread!!! YESPLEASE. Their sandwiches are seriously THEBEST in town. Especially their hot sandwiches. are to die for!!!(Tri-tip &50⁄50). Their sandwiches are so fresh and high quality. Drool. I am literally getting hungry as I write this heh. The space is pretty small, they close a bit early, and I’m not a hugeee fan of their sides(ie potato salad, macaroni, fruit, slaw, etc), but considering they are not a full restaurant, it is very easy to overlook these things. I hope I need a caterer in the future because I’d love to order from them! With their generous portions, friendly staff, and fantastic selection, I find myself coming here once a week… I’m hooked. Just do yourself a favor and grab a stamp card because you will be back ;-)

Their hot pastrami has soooo much flavor! And the rolls are soft and fluffy. Hands down the best sandwich ever! Enough said!

I really like the pastrami and the tri-tip sandwiches and I had a friend suggest that I try a 50% tri-tip 50% pastrami, this is my new favorite here. Because I like hot sandwiches the tri-tip can lose a lot of moisture when they reheat it, the pastrami while sinfully delicious can be a little overwhelming. Mixing the two seemed to make a perfect balance. Fruit cup makes it healthy. I have also had the catering and even purchased meat from the counter. The catering is very good with Bbq classics like chicken, tri-tip, salad, garlic bread(very good), potato salad. The meat is priced above most grocery stores but below Whole Foods and is very good quality. I would recommend the meat loaf surprisingly. My wife was a MLH(meat loaf hater) until I cooked one of them. I was given some extra service the first time I got it: the meat guy put extra seasoning on it and put in a baking pan for me. I covered it in el pato and it was fantastic! The staff are friendly and seem to like working there.

The owner/person who takes your order is a complete douche. He demands a tip even before he makes your already overpriced sandwich. Would not recommend unless you like poor service.

Great food, but every time I have gone there with my friends, the man behind the counter has forced us into tipping him in a rude manner. He blatantly asks where his tip is and stares at you until you respond. Not sure if I am over reacting but, I felt very uncomfortable and didn’t appreciate it. This has occurred about three times now, and I am starting to reconsider going there.

I had lunch here for the first time in 10 years and I was blown away by how much it has improved in the decade since my last sandwich. I ordered the Tri-strami(a fierce combination of my two favorite parts of the cow, tri-tip & pastrami) while my friend ordered a burger with grilled onions, pepper-relish and a fried egg. What came out of the kitchen was so beautiful that we simply had to share them. The sandwich was on a nice french roll and came with pickled onions and the perfect amount of mustard. The burger was a thick two-finger patty on a beautiful bun the color of dark honey and cooked to medium-rare perfection. It’s not saying much to claim this is the best burger in Goleta so I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s quite possibly the best burger in the Santa Barbara area! Better than Eureka, better than Paradise and it was $ 7.50!

The pastrami sandwich is pretty good, kind of greasy though, but hey, its pastrami, what did you expect :) It’s expensive though, running near $ 15 for a sandwich, chips and drink. My other problem, is I have tried many of their other sandwiches, and really have not found another that I like. On the other side of their business … BBQ catering, its kind of the same. We have had them cater many work functions, and the food is good, but not spectacular. Its fine to eat, but I would probably look elsewhere if I were catering an event.

Used these guys for my wedding this weekend– they were AMAZING! Everyone raved about the food– especially the tri tip and chicken. It seemed like they kept the buffet well stocked throughout dinner. They were easy to work with throughout the planning process, and usually responded to questions in a timely manner. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a caterer. Or are just in the mood for an awesome tri tip sandwich…

Seriously the best meat I’ve tasted in a sandwich… I got the tri-tip the first time I went. and the meat like melted in my mouth. I went with one of my friends and it was so good that we didn’t talk for a ten whole minutes other than saying«this is soooo good.» HAHA sooo i took my boyfriend here two days later and I got the roast beef. It was almost as good as the tri-tip except the tri-tip is juicier. they cut and prepare the meat right on the spot so its fresh, also love how they give your choice of a side!(I got macaroni salad while my boyfriend got potato salad, both very good!) total for two sandwiches came out to be twenty so one is about ten bucks! totally worth it! PS. its also a meat market so they have fresh beef you can buy and cook at home!

Service is a priority here. The person who takes your order is the one that cooks/prepares your meal and rings you up. There is nothing lost in translation, regardless if the process is actually efficient or not. They have a few items that are easy enough to order, but be prepared to make a ton of decisions rather than selecting them yourself on a checklist order form. I like to know these things before I order so I’m not standing there like a bumbling fool deciding to get pepperocinis or not. After you get the ordering out of the way you have some time to peruse the drinks and chips. They have a good selection of raw meats in their deli: beef ribeye, tri-tip, stuffed chicken breasts and lots of prepared and ready to grill veggies. So come here, order a sandwich, pair it with a Bigfoot ale, sit on the patio and enjoy the mountain views… then go take a nap because it’s hearty food.
