We LOVE Orient Hand Laundry! We are always kindly greeted and they are excellent cleaners. I knew i found a gem one of the first times I went in and he wanted to wait till after the laundry was clean and dry to weigh it because there were two big wet towels in our laundry bag. Always extremely quick and everything is treated with great care! I I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. They always help me take my laundry out to my car and make sure I am well taken care of!

Parking is sketchy but totally worth it.
Do not judge this business by the exterior or the location! They are wonderful, first class service. This is a laundry service only. They will wash and press dress shirts but that costs extra.
For $ 1.25/pound and neatly professionally folded laundry wrapped in brown paper why would anyone do laundry?
They are worth it!

The service has been great and you can’t beat their prices in Santa Barbara. They aren’t a dry cleaners but they are the perfect laundry for the weekly load of collared shirts that need to be cleaned and ironed.

Laundry by the pound. Prices are now 1.25/lb. They’re friendly, quick and do a great job. I’m not a regular, but when I’m totally stressed out and could use a break, I spend a little bit extra for someone else to do my laundry for me and take a break, instead. It is great! Plus, this place has some real character. The old school balance and cash register are awesome!
Again, they don’t do dry cleaning.

Seems like a very nice laundry with very nice staff. But contrary to an earlier review is NOT a dry cleaner. I’m leaving the 5* rating because I have no reason to downgrade them. I just wanted to correct the record so that someone else doesn’t go there seeking a dry cleaner.
