Bake Me a Cake Supply & Decorating

Have been to this store several times in the last few months since I live in the area. Every single time I have gone there they have not had what I needed, always chalking it up to «OH we get so busy that we sell out right away, but we can order what you need». Well guess what, so can I. Every person that I’ve come across that has mentioned this store has always said the same thing as me, «HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS?». These are basic supplies that are essential to keeping a cake supply store open.
I’ve been to the store several times and the store has been closed with a sign that says «Be back in 15 minutes». However, went by this weekend a couple times only to find the store tarped up with a sign that says «Excuse our mess» and the doors are locked. I’ve tried calling the business number to see if they plan to re-​open, only to find that the number has been disconnected, as well as their Facebook page has disappeared.
Sure would be nice to have notice as to what is going on. Closed, temporarily closed? I’m not surprised, poorly ran business.

I had a great experience here! I came in looking for some cake decorating supplies back in October but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. The owner (?) was there and she was so friendly and helpful. Not only did age help me pick supplies and give me tips on decoration technique and storage, but I actually stood there and chatted with her for a good 20 – 30 minutes! I was supposed to bring a picture of the finished product but still haven’t gotten around to it! I appreciate this small locally owned business and the care being put into their service!

Horrible horrible horrible! We booked a party from a groupon we had purchased a month ago. We had called and booked it right away as soon as we received the confirmation from groupon. Since the groupon had been such a success they had very limited available times. We had booked a party for March 9 from 10am-​12pm. This was ok for us since my daughters birthday was on the 14^th. We sent out invitations to all the little girls and they have been so excited about this party for weeks. We were emailed the forms to fill out and we immediately faxed it back to them of the colors and name of the birthday girl. On Friday March 8 we called around 2pm to ask a few questions and confirm everything was ready to go. We were told they did not have us down for a party. They were booked up and nothing we could do. The person on the phone basically argued with us on the reservation and said this is why they don’t like sending emails. Nothing was apologetic or not even a notion of helping us fix this situation. We were left to plan a party for 8 girls in less than 24hrs notice an we were left to inform my daughter that she would not be having a party at the place her and her friends have been talking about ever since the invitations were sent out. I am very upset with this company and the lack of concern they had. Not even an hour after speaking with them they posted on their Facebook page on how they were no longer emailing or faxing forms to book parties. Regardless of whether they received our forms or not they should have written down our name and number in the time slot for the time we booked over the phone. And upon reviewing their reservation book they would of seen that they had not received any paperwork from us and called us to see if we were still having the party. We faxed in the paperwork and I understand that they may have not received it but that does not excuse why we were never written in for a phones in conversation of time. I do not recommend this place unless you like disappointing your children.
