That woman who provided me a crappy service was so out of touch as related to a good customer service. I visited the EyeglassWorld located in 15 465 W Mcdowell Rd Goodyear on 18 Aug 15 around 550PM to get me new pair of glasses. This Hispanic looking woman with a lousy service must had either a bad day or something bad in her mouth, i guess. She was not pleasant at all during the conversation as if she was mad at me; if she needs to be in a business that requires to interact with customers, she MUST learn how to greet customers first, or shouldn’t be woking in that field at all. I showed her a new prescription (got in May 15) and my current glasses (got in Dec 14) and asked her if she could tell me how differences between my glasses and a new prescription. She said, they don’t do those comparison, and I can take it to my doctor to do so. Ooook… that’s fine. I told her my current glasses is for reading, and I need new pair (s) glasses for longer distance or both. I normally have two same pairs when I order (one for office another for home). She said I may need either bifocals or progressive, and its $ 310 for progressive and $ 85 less for the bifocals. I provided her my insurance; she said, I could save only $ 10 or $ 15 using my insurance which I realized that it won’t cover much. I thought, her strange attitude was distracting, and I was kanda turned off by her bad attitute towards me by then. So I told her that I want to think about it. As soos as I said, she turned around and went back to her desk in the back while I’m still standing. How rude is that! If you expect to receive a pleasant customer service, then this is not the place. I went to the Target and ordered two pairs of glasses that evening.

I had a great experience and feel people should hear about the exceptional care I had. I went in only to peruse frames. While I was wandering around, someone asked if I needed an exam. My insurance is new to me, so I was unsure what would be covered. The gal that helped me figured out all of my pricing options up front before I committed to making an appointment. They were able to get my exam completed right there on the spot. How convenient. The best part of my visit, was my eye exam. I have been wearing the same contact lens prescription for 15 years and assumed everyone just dealt with uncomfortable contacts. Turns out I was wearing lenses that didn’t fit. How has this gone on for 15 years and more than 3 different optometrists? The doctor changed my prescription and rechecked. She was still unhappy with the fit, so tried something else until she found a lens she was satisfied with. It’s a wonderful change. Thank you for making me so much more comfortable. I appreciate the extra time given to me to make sure I received the best result. I went in to try on frames and walked out with AWESOME contacts, eye exam, and eyeglasses.
I’ve never given a 5 star review, so don’t let my 4 stars deter you. I will definitely return.

It was time to have my eyes checked since it’s been over two years I also talked my other half into going .
We’ve been to another location (35^th and Peoria) and had the best experience ever all around, so I figured since we’ve moved we’d try this location which is closer for us.
The appointment process was great. We got in the next day. However once we signed in, the wait was very long. I had to ask when I would be seen (since I had to be at work in a little over an hour), the woman that worked the desk was pleasant taking my co pay but when asked about how much longer was snippy and a tad rude.
Forty minutes later I was taken in to do the basic tests (I didn’t pay the $ 15.00 for the directional test) and back into the waiting room.
By the time I saw the doctor I had waited a good 65 minutes past the appointment time. Hmmm. I chose my frames and lens and paid. My husband didn’t have a great experience here at all with the woman at the desk.
The selection was not as extensive as I remember from the other location. Not sure if this is standard now for them all or maybe it’s just the Goodyear store that has less selection.
I needed a new prescription, this store did that for me.
But I think I will go back to and recommend the 35^th and Peoria location. The staff there was nice, professional and got you in pretty close to your appointment time. The Goodyear location, hmmm. not so much.
LOL. I’m still waiting for my eyesglasse to come in. I hope they come in without any issues :)

I came here to get my sunglasses repaired today. Prompt service. And it was free! Although it was a minor repair it was nice and the guy said he was just glad he could help. Love it!

We had a very pleasant experience here,
We were just in the area when my wife seen this place from the street. Asked me to stop here so we can get one of our daughters glasses repaired. Natalie’s glasses were missing one of the screws, and Neci’s were loose. So when my wife left, both glasses were repaired, they gave her two new hard glass cases, all for free.
Very nice workers, and great service
