Ditto to everything Tee O. wrote! The food here is REALLY good.
First of all, yes Kev’s is in Goulds. But no it is not nasty-​ghetto.
The conch is fresh… and everything is fried, chopped, squeezed, seasoned, and served right in front of you.
The best part about the conch balls and salad– Kev doesn’t jip you on the conch. There are big, hearty chunks in each serving! You might have to wait awhile, but it is definitely worth it!

Ok, I am EXTREMELY picky on where I eat from and especially if it’s on the side of the road but, this place is a must if you enjoy indulging in on conch balls and conch salads. Kevin, the owner of Kev’s, is an awesome dude with some awesome conch dishes! His conch salads and fried conch balls are DELISH!!! YUM!!! With the conch salad infused with sweet mango chunks along with juices from oranges and limes and not drowned out by traditional makes from the hood like tomato juice, vinegar and etc., it’s sure to be a palate teaser! Your order is made when placed so it’s nice and fresh, not sitting around on ice or under a heater. While waiting for your order you get to enjoy Kev’s culinary skills chopping away on the chopping board and have a few laughs at his and other customers that are waiting jokes. Soon you will see there are 10 or more orders that are in wait so be sure to have patience, it’s so worth the wait. With conch salad and conch balls is $ 10, Conch salad $ 8 and conch balls alone $ 5. He also serves BBQ ribs and chicken ($ 5).
He is available Thursday and Friday 5p-​11p and Saturday and Sunday 12p-​11p. So take the trip down south to Goulds (it’s not that bad) and get your grub on from Kev’s Conch and BBQ!
