We stayed in the poconos for the weekend and we checked out of the house early, so all 9 of my friends wanted homemade local breakfast.
This is the CUTEST place in town even the décor in the bathroom. I felt like I was in an old little mom and pop dinner from back in the day. WE LOVED IT. The food was so good, I give a lot of credit to the cook for cooking so gooooood & keeping everything warm. We had a big group and the waitress was so accommodating and sweet. So nice to have a local «go to». Breakfast was perfect. I had eggs over easy with a side of spinach. My hubble had dark chocolate Strawberry pancakes. Just peefwct

Clean, good food and friendly service. We ordered the hillbilly deluxe; pancakes (my order) or French toast (wife’s order), eggs, bacon and potatoes. Coffee is good too. Had an 8 month old with us and they have high chairs. Bathroom also clean. Would definitely return for another delicious meal, served with a warm smile.

Friendly service in backwoods eatery with stick to your ribs basic food. Breakfast was the perfect meal — eggs, potatoes and bread with good coffee.

What an awesome place to eat — breakfast, lunch or dinner– all are absolutely wonderful! Great food, great, friendly service and reasonable prices! Don’t miss the Crunchy Chicken for dinner! YUM!

Wonderful new place to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch! The food here is super fresh, never greasy and they have great specials. The other day I was up visiting and had a wonderful combo of peanut butter and banana pancakes with a side of bacon! Yummy! They give you plenty of food, the place is super clean and the environment is very attractive done in country motif with burgundy and blues. Definitely recommend going here & supporting this new local business. Best thing to be in this location in the 8 years I’ve been vacationing in this area!

I got there ahead of when they open on a weekend. It was freezing outside, and they didn’t take long to let us in anyway.
Our waitress was sunny from start to finish. I’ve paid a lot more to get a lot less in this department.
I cannot relate how great it is to not have overly greasy terribly olde rubbery food. I ordered the waffles and ice cream, and they were just fine. They come with a little side of delicious homemade maple syrup. I live in the South, and we’re burdened by horrible sugar water. I’ve often proposed a maple syrup for barbecue sauce exchange. I’ve ate at a lot of places that seem to want to kill me with heart attack inducing levels of grease and fat. so it’s wonderful to have a better option.
There are also a number of general store items available here for a reasonable price.
Please support these guys or risk another small business going under only to force you to drive a half hour for decent chow.
