I requested Red Gerber daisies and Dark Purple tulips specifically for a funeral. The girl said she would get them for me. I explained the colors were very important they represented a special memory between me and the son of the man who died. Keep in mind I kept emphasizing these were for a man and wanted them more masculine and wanted red daisies and purple tulips… He got bright pink gerbers with light purple tulips, little pink and white flower filler with a baby purple bow… Words couldn’t even express my anger and disappointment when I saw the photo. Guy was a rude and flustered. Made me feel like I was doing him a favor by trying to buy 3 bouquets. «Who are the for anyway, when do you want them? Well that’s not gonna happen, we are busy! They are minimum $ 65 a pop plus I charge extra for delivery» total prick. I called my regular place and ordered 3 huge sets for way Better price and way better quality then this guys dumpy shop. Must be a cover since no way this dude wants people business.

The only words that come to my mind when I pass this establishment, is unfortunate. I never stepped foot into their business although I did pass it on the street. I did deal with Bob(I think that was his name) over the phone; and their website. If it wasn’t for the lack luster of service I received, I would give this 2 stars as I did order on one of the busiest days: Valentines Day. Like a horrible husband, I didn’t think of a flower place to order from until last minute. I decided to give a local small business a try, rather then larger competitors(Which I should’ve gone with in the first place). I placed an order on their 20th century website, to where it read«We cannot guarantee your order will arrive at a specific time». I thought that was okay as long as it arrived sometime on Feb 14th. In the order process it said, if you have a specific time you wish the order to arrive by, please go ahead and place your order, then contact us by phone. I assumed the first message was more accurate, however I decided to give it a shot. The worst that could happen was I just get a refund, right? So I ended up calling the shop around 30 minutes after placing the order at 9:30am. Bob answers the phone flustered; which is understandable considering it is Valentines day. I introduced myself and asked if there was a chance my order may arrive before 2:15pm; down the street to Newberry School of Beauty. To my surprise he replied«I don’t know, it’s all on the truck». This confused me as I only placed the order 30 minutes ago. I then asked if he’d be able to look up my order in the system. He replied«I don’t know it’s all on the truck», I replied okay. He then told me all orders would arrive before 9pm tonight. This information was not listed on their website. Frustrated I accepted this as although my partner would no longer be at the location, I knew someone who’d be able to receive it; as they closed at 10pm. To my surprise, the order never arrived, I was never charged, and I never got a call. I however, did get an order confirmation. I won’t be calling this establishment again.

I will never use them again! Ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife for our anniversary 2 days ahead of time. Flowers were never delivered, not so much as even a phone call to say there was a problem. Then I had to call TWICE to get the charge removed, and then she refunded the wrong amount after I told the exact amount THREE times! This woman doesn’t know how to run a business. Disgusted.

Granada Hills Florist. Valentine’s 2012. Destination — Chatsworth, CA. Time distance between Granada Hills and Chatsworth appx’ly 15 minutes. A week prior to Valentine’s Day I decided to order flowers from this florist to be delivered to Chatsworth. I’ve purchased flowers from this florist once before and was happy with their arrangement, so I assumed they’d do a good job for Valentine’s Day. When I walked into the shop I was greeted by an old woman; I knew her to be the owner from my last visit. With a quick hello she asked what I needed. I specified that I needed an arrangement delivered for Valentine’s Day to a Chatsworth office. To my SHOCK, she said with disdain that she would not deliver. She went further to say, as if to justify, that she’s just«being perfectly honest with me that she will not deliver». I have absolutely no idea what she was trying to say by stating that she’s being«…perfectly honest…» In any case, I felt compelled to remind her that the distance from their shop to the point of delivery was no more than 15 minutes, she still refused. This old woman went further to say that if I «really» wanted one of their arrangements for Valentine’s Day that I could come back on the day and pick one up and deliver it myself. At that point, I smiled politely and left… still completely and utterly SHOCKED. You would think with the way people and businesses complain about the economy that when a CUSTOMER comes into your place of business you would want their patronage. I find it appalling when a retail business turns down /away customers, esp’ly customers who are ready to spend their money. Fortunately, I was able to find another and much better florist the following day and was able to place my order on-time. In addition, this florist now has my company’s weekly order of flowers delivered to our office. Needless to say, Granada Hills Florist will no longer receive any more business from my company or me. And I am actively spreading the word on their lack of professionalism and service.
