$ 6.52 for 2 sides of toast. This place is getting very greedy with there prices. The loaf of sourdough doesn’t even cost that much at the super market. I understand making a profit, but this is over profiting off of your customers who obviously will need toast with their over-easy eggs. I used to come here regularly, but now i will never come back.

Great food. Get here early to beat the crowd. Seating is limited, but they hope to move to a larger place soon. Portions are ample for sharing.

Usually, the wait is about 40 mins. The time we went, we got seated within 5 mins outside. The seating inside is snug. It can be a little confusing if it’s your first time there. You order inside at the counter. You get your drinks while you pay. So if you are ordering for several people, make sure you bring help to help you carry your drinks to your table(if you seated outside) You get complimentary fresh pretzel bread with house made preserves. We had pumpkin and apricot. So good! The food was great. We had the Stuffed french toast. Which was probably enough for 2 – 3 people. It hade whipped cream cheese with lots of fresh berries.

This place does not disappoint! The food, service and atmosphere is great! The place is small and wait times can be long but overall it’s worth the wait!

Three words: pork and potato. So good! Shared the French toast, which was also delicious and HUGE! Two downsides: 1.) It’s in the Valley and I’m in West LA. 2.) It’s really small. Get here early to avoid the wait.

This place is honestly to die for I really love the quality of the food and how it felt like a home cooked meal. Compared to other places that just put something on the plate to get customers in and out. It’s a hidden gem in Granada Hills is a small cute café with outdoor seating and few seats inside. There’s no private parking lot only street parking is available but honestly this place is worth a walk if you park far. Once you come in you wait to be seated either outside or indoors. Then once seated you’re given a menu & you have to go place your order at the counter. Since we got there around 12:30pm we missed breakfast. But luckily there are a few breakfast items that they service all day. I ended up getting their Short Stack of Pancakes & a Chocolate Chip Bacon Cookie. Their pancakes are some the best I’ve had & I consider myself a Pancake connoisseur. It’s fresh and light but not like I am biting into pockets of air. It was bland it had its own flavor without the need of syrup. I loved the fresh berries on top it gave the dish a good bite. I like that the whipped cream, syrup & butter were served on the side. The cookie which I wasn’t expecting to like turned out to be amazing. It was a perfect balance of salty and sweet. When you took a bite you could tell it was freshly made it was super soft. The bread and homemade jam was the kicker for me. The bread which at first I thought was like a pretzel style dough but it taste and felt like brioche. The jam were different and unexpectedly good. I loved their watermelon one it was so fresh. I can’t wait to come back during breakfast hours to try their other items. Looks like I am going to be a regular here.

I come here every other week or so on my day off. The burger and the bbq salad are really good, and the entire brunch menu is fantastic… but THEMOSTAMAZINGTHINGONTHEMENU is the four-cheese grilled cheese with pulled pork. SERIOUSLYAMAZING. Some of the other salads are kind of weird. The portions are big enough for two meals, so it’s good value. It’s a little small, so better to come in the down time hours when it’s not crowded. They’re expanding though, so that won’t be a problem for long.

This place is a bit of a gem in the San Fernando Valley. It’s hidden in a shopping center along the street and people could pass by there without even knowing about it, but I caught the place and decided to try it out and see where it goes. The place itself is substantially smaller than most places. It’s also based off ordering at a register and people bring the food to you, instead of table service. Parking’s not that bad in Granada Hills, although meters play a huge role. Service was also really good, friendly staff and very courteous. The reason that this place is 5 stars is because of the food. I didn’t realize that the portions that Joe’s Café provides is HUGE. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad(minus cheese), as well as an order of waffles with chocolate chips(extra charge!), a parfait, and a side order of the bleu Mac and cheese. The salad itself was massive, had to box about 75% of it since I snacked off the other items with a friend. Flavor was definitely there, although I will say the parfait was surprisingly good(despite the fact I hate Greek yogurt). Definitely worth the money you pay, and also appetizing for your taste buds. I’m definitely delighted with this place, and I’ll definitely be here a lot more often now that I found this neat place in the Valley.

Want FOOD that’s fresh, healthy, and unique? MOSTDEFGOTTA come here. It’s located in the heart of Granada Hills(my hometown!) in the San Fernando Valley. And they are expanding. They’re moving into the restaurant space a few doors down– Which is perfect because currently, it’s hard to seat parties of over 4 all together. It’s quaint, has so much character. Totally hipster. Anticipate a line of your coming at normal peak hours-weekend brunch etc. I feel like they make everything from scratch. The owner has a dope tattoo of a whisk on his forearm…(Fun fact) Their staff is always friendly. ORDERATTHEREGISTERWHENYOUCOMEIN, they don’t take your order at the table when you’re seated. Seating: please wait to be seated by them! Indoor and outdoor seating available. I really like their breakfast croissant. Their pretzel bread and home made jam that they give to each table is delicious! And the jam changes each time I go there. Definitely unique tasting jams– their combinations just complement each other… Their parfait is huge, and their French toast covered with fresh cream and berries is good of you want something fruity and sweet. They also have a really good chocolate chip cookie with bacon. Oh and if you in a bag of fresh oranges,(not sure if they absolutely have to be home grown) they’ll give you a discount for your meal! Parking:free street parking available. Obey the street signs, though!

The restaurant itself is extremely small. There are only about 5 tables inside and another 5 outdoor. We were quoted a wait for 25 – 35 minutes at 9am on Saturday. If possible try to get seated inside because there isn’t any shade with their outdoor seating. After you get your table you go to the counter to order your food. I ended up getting the short stack, pork and potatoes, and a strawberry lemonade. I was caught a little off guard with the total, which was about $ 22. After you place your order a plate of complimentary pretzel bread and some jam comes to your table. We received yam jam as well as a salsa jam, both were good but too sweet. The strawberry lemonade was also a little too sweet. The short stack came with three big pancakes with lots of fresh fruit, but they were a little too dense for me. The pork and potatoes was pretty good. but it was $ 7 for a pretty small ramekin. They are expanding to a much larger space soon so the wait should be a little shorter. I’d want to give their food another shot once the new location opens up. Their staff is extremely friendly. Currently i’m trying to find the episode of Chopped that Joe competed in.

Very great and welcoming staff. This place is very small and you are likely to run your elbows with the people eating next to you. There are quite a few seating a outside the restaurant but that gets taken up really quick. I see that they’re expanding next door which is great considering the fact that this place gets packed really quick!!! I came in early with my partner, ordered, waited a few minutes and it had already gotten busy. Do yourself a favor and arrive on time or go on google, type in «joes café» and search the times they are busy. Other than that, we received our order fairly quick! I ordered the stuffed French toast, and left me say. It was DELICIOUS! For all you fruit lovers out there, they pack a ton of strawberries, blueberries etc… On it. I didn’t even want to eat it because it looked really, «pretty»! I couldn’t finish it all. The menu is rather small and not big compared to Cici’s café so this will help you with the choosing.

Joe’s Café is really great. From the tables and chairs outside to the cozy inside with the menus on a chalk board and the kitchen open so you can see all the activity, to the food, it’s really well done. I stayed away for a long time because on weekends I thought the line looked long. It is a little small, but they move things quickly and efficiently. You ask for a table and then you can walk around until they text you. You order inside once you get your table. We’ve eaten breakfast there a few times(great breakfast potatoes), and yesterday I had lunch, the portobello(and shiitake) mushroom burger with mixed green salad. Yum! My niece had the grilled salad — ginormous and delicious! The staff are really nice! Oh, and good news! They are moving a couple doors down(don’t be confused, the new sign is up on the new space already), so now there will be more room to accommodate how popular they are!

Breakfast for the win at Joe’s Café! Fresh ingredients, big portions, and fair prices. — Delicious pretzel bun(get a free half bun just for dining, accompanied by homemade jams)! — Waffle was crispy yet moist, and loaded with flavor with tiny bits of bacon(add $ 1.50)! It was also sprinkled with fresh berries with a side of fluffy whipped cream. — The Cure sammie was loaded with flavor with a house-made sausage patty, Gouda cheese, choice of sauce, and egg; also very filling. — Bacon chocolate chip cookie lasted two days and was still moist, choco chips were still soft, and wasn’t overwhelming with bacon grease. I’m not sure if it’s worth waiting over an hour to dine at Joe’s, but we had dogs with us and needed a patio-friendly place. This is an excellent breakfast joint to take your dog.

This place… It’s everything I’ve ever wanted for breakfast. Service is great, and the food is AMAZING. Even if the service wasn’t good I would still come here just for the delicious food! Thankfully everyone here is super nice. My favorite dish was the Pork and Potatoes. I’m not a potato person but that was the most flavorful breakfast dish ever! You MUST eat here. It’s with the 45– 60 minute wait. AND it is crazy affordable. Biscuits & Gravy: $ 6.99 Pork & Potatoes: $ 6.99 Side of 2 Eggs: $ 2.99(it looked like 4 eggs) Waffle: $ 10.99 P. S. They service a complimentary soft pretzel with homemade jam. My favorite was the strawberry. I bought a jar of it!

I don’t dislike food often but this place was not good. At all. Yet there’s still people that wait outside for it. It’s mind boggling. We had to see what all the fuss was about so we waited as well. We were seated in a tiny space, way in the corner. So tight that we literally had to scoot up from seats each time the waiter wanted to pass by. I ordered their French toast. It was so grainy and dry. Really awful. But I look around and everyone else is smiling, talking and having a good time. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. Was I the only one? So I asked my wife how her food was. And she didn’t like it either. And she likes everything! So my theory is that people«think» they like it here since it’s one of the few«hip» breakfast spots in the North Valley. But sorry id rather drive a bit out to Sherman Oaks/Studio City/LA and get a better breakfast.

Hands down my fave place to grab breakfast in the valley!!! It’s close to my brothers and they take reservations! Yes they do! The current spot is small but they are working on expanding the place to accommodate more patrons. The food here is damn good. Nothing I’ve had here has been a bad. Pork and Potatoes ~ If you are a fan of some damn good gravy atop your potatoes you are in for a freaking treat. I don’t know what it is but I would totally roll around in this plate of goodness. Pork and Eggs ~ A very tasty pork sausage and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Biscuits and Gravy ~ Oh yeaaaaaah the gravy is off the hook the best. Seriously I want to lather it all over myself. The biscuit has a really good consistency of light and dense. It sops up the gravy perfectly. Bacon Waffles ~ Come on bacon makes everything taste better right, and it does so in these waffles. Nice salt and sweet flavor when you add the syrup on top. Bacon and Chocolate chip pancakes ~ Check it, Check it out! Yup pancakes with bacon and chocolate chip. Another sweet and savory goodness for breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy and the ratio of the bacon to chips was good. Could have used a bit more bacon but that’s cuz I loooooove bacon! Stuffed French Toast ~ This stuff will put you out for the rest of the day. It’s stuffed with fruity goodness. Definitely a plate you want to share with the rest of your table mates. Eyes ~ Really small space inside and some outdoor seating Nose ~ Not much smell sitting outside Ear ~ People enjoying their company and food Mouth ~ WHATTHE!!! Give me another taste of that gravy goodness Tummy ~ I wish I could expand to accommodate more

This is a tiny and very busy breakfast spot. We came here after a super early flight on a Saturday morning and there was already a 45minutes wait at 8am. Since we had time we waited but there is nothing around there. So the wait can be a little boring. Once we had a table, we ordered at the front and the food was served shortly after. I really looked forward to the Pretzel bread that I saw on Unilocal but honestly, it wasn’t that good. It was served cold(was it in the fridge?) but hey, it was free. The orange juice is very good, get it. I ordered the omelette and I loved that you can pick your ingredients. I picked turkey, mushrooms and spinach and it was a great combo. The turkey meat is junky and very delicious! The food was served hot, like really really hot(temperature). If I hate something it is cold or luke warm food so this was perfect. All in all a good experience, I would come here again if I am in the neighborhood to try the pancakes.

Came here on a Saturday for BRUNCH after reviewing that the breakfast menu was amazing on Unilocal and with the recommendation from a friend. We got here around 11:30 am and were seated after 40 minutes! Thank goodness they were still serving breakfast until 12:30pm on Saturdays which is what we came for(although it says they serve it up until 11:30 am). Ambiance is very causal and cozy. They use kitchen appliances such as a cheese grater and pasta drainer as their light décor! It’s a VERYVERY small café(hence the long wait to be seated). I would not suggest coming here with a party larger than 4 people if you want to be seated together. THEFOOD(What we tried): — stuffed French toast($ 11.99): proportion is out of this world!!! So delicious and plentiful of berries to top it off. HIGHLYRECOMMEND! — the cure special($ 8.99) + avocado & bacon(+$ 1): pancake sandwich, which is also the bomb dot com! different than your typical waffle or rev sandwiches — pork n potatoes($ 6.99): UGHAGAIN, another winner! Definitely coming back for some more of these. The house garlic and bacon gravy that topped it was phenomenal! — complementary pretzel with house jam(free) — good, but it was cold. THEPARKINGSITUATION: there’s free street parking and a bunch of parking on neighboring plazas. OVERALL: 5 for the QUALITY of food!!! I’m not gonna mark a star down for the wait, cause you gotta do what you gotta do for good food.

Ive been wanting to go to Joes for over a year. At first i couldn’t seem to find it even though my navigation directed me straight to them. Their hanging sign is so small, i kept missing it. Well now that I’ve found them im not letting go! This place is heaven! :) Expect long lines during weekends. Super small inside(probably seats 10 ppl) Semi open kitchen/register Good menu selection Complementary pretzel bread wid jam for(dine in) Parking on the street if you are lucky to grab one Some seats outside Amazing service Delicious/good quality food I guess they just bought the side business(Vegetable Delight) and are expanding. I cant wait :) I hope they expand more and more. If you are in the Granada Hill area. This is a must.
