Odd to say, I haven’t tried their coffee yet. But I have had a sandwich. I had the Horses Love Apples sandwich — how can you not love a sandwich with such a great name. Well, I did love it. It isn’t a fancy sandwich — kind of a deli roast beef on whole wheat with chopped apples and horseradish. But it worked. It was big enough for my husband and I to share(which means you will want one to yourself along with some chips… we aren’t big eaters). This place is HOPPING at lunch time, so there will be a line. Lots of frozen coffee/tea drinks being sold. I really love the atmosphere here — very young, very«hip», everyone seems happy here. Great patio seating and some cute indoor seating. Near the Museum of the West for afters.

Not many vegetarian options, but you really only need the veggie crunch wrap, even if you are carnivorous. It’s so good. The wraps are a good size, too; you could easily make one last two meals, assuming you have the willpower to not keep going. Again, it’s delicious. The space is a little cramped, but there’s a lot of outdoor seating which I assume would be nice in the summertime. They are dog-friendly indoors, or at least they were when I visited in winter. Everyone working was human-friendly as well.

Excellent, unique wraps that taste great. They also give you free water, which is great if you’re travelling through. Friendly service, fun music and a great crowd.

Roasted has the best espresso in Grand Junction! The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly. Inside seating can be a little tight and outside seating can be a little hot(though they have misters!), but it’s worth sticking around if you can. The artwork is always fun to look at and their daily happy hour is the best deal in town.

Roasted Espresso & Subs is 40+% of the reason I would ever consider moving to Grand Junction(Famous Dave’s BBQ makes up another chunk). The rocket fuel was like a mocha and an Americano had a baby and the lord said it was good. I wish I could’ve brought a pitcher home. Their was art inspired by Donnie Darko, Fear & Loathing, and Edward Scissorhands on the walls. Cake and RJD2 were playing on the sound system and they were concerned it was too loud for us. It was not; my wife made them turn it back up. They were great with our young one. I wish I had more compliments to shower them with, but I will just have to plan a weekend where I head out to Grand Junction just to lounge around my new favorite coffee shop and drink some other concoctions.

Hot chocolate is wonderful! I’ve had several of their wraps which are delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is a little too loud. I like it!

This place is OK if you’re taking something to go, but if the weather isn’t nice, don’t plan on staying. It’s pretty small and VERYLOUD inside. Like, so loud you can’t hear the person talking to you across a tiny table. Also, although someone earlier said it’s located«right off the freeway,» that’s not true — it’s downtown and parking can be a real pain. The coffee is ok, the chai is too sweet.

Wonderful coffee. Most of the staff are fantastic. Only had one bad experience with stereotypical barista attitude from one lady. Always decent food, good variety of drinks. Nice atmosphere, friendly regulars.

Best espresso drinks I’ve found in GJ. Sometimes latte art, other times no. They have really tasty sandwiches too. I visit for coffee /breakfast in the morning, and then back again for lunch. They also stay open later than most coffee shops — 9 pm! That’s so refreshing and rare. You’re tired after work, stop by for an espresso booster.

The food is average at best. I ordered a «Toasted Johnson», my girlfriend ordered«Horses Loves Apples» based on the rave reviews about this place. Hers was basically 2 thick slices of bread, 1 thin slice of roast beef and 1 thin slice of apple, and some mustard. Big ripoff for about $ 8! My sandwich was also pretty skimpy, but it tasted pretty good so I’m giving this place 2 stars. I wouldn’t recommend this place, this place is over-hyped.

Awesome lil coffee shop. Very chill and they offer Almond milk, what more do you want from a coffee shop :-) If you’re close to downtown, stop by.

Solid little coffee shop. Decent espresso drinks. Iced coffee got watery a little quick, but still way better than char bucks! Their veggie wrap was really good! Some other food items seemed good, wish I could’ve tried em! This place also had killer atmosphere! Good music bumping when I came in, and the staff were super chill and fun to hang out with while you waited. Definitely would come back!

What a cute coffee and lunch spot right in downtown Grand Junction! If you are looking for some character and want to support the local business scene, head to Roasted! I was in downtown GJ for work for a few days and wanted a nice, quick lunch spot and this was my place! I was having a major vitamin craving and this was the place for my fix! I got a great veggie crunch wrap with hummus, sriracha and tons of veggies and a blueberry smoothie. Everything was made to order and really speedy. Fresh food fast, and for a decent price! Then, I headed outside and sat at one of their picnic tables and soaked up that awesome GJ sun. This is a great spot!

Very laid back but fantastic chicken salad sandwich… peppery and savory. A place that pulls 3 shots to make a perfect macchiato cares if things taste good. All the flavors were very pure in Colorado.

Trendy. Dirty. Hipster with a tinge of memories of 80’s/90’s punk culture. They serve things in mason jars. There is art on the walls, loud rock music blaring on the speakers. The chairs are all falling apart… but you don’t feel gross sitting in them, you feel cooler. Definitely the place to get caffeinated and look cool doing it :). I will have to come again and sample their sandwiches… it seems to be the other half of their specialties: P.

Right off the freeway, easy parking. Hipster place(in a good way, not a snooty way) with cool music and outdoor seating to accommodate our dog. Sandwiches, wraps, and salads made to order with many veggie options. I had a veggie wrap which was tastier than the one I had at Fraps and Wraps, and iced chai which was delish. Hubs had garden veggie sandwich that had green chiles on it, which he loved. If this place was in San Francisco I’d go there all the time.
