Some friends and I came in one morning for a cup of coffee and had a great experience. The owner was super sweet and talked with us for over 30 minutes about the town and what there is to do there. The coffee was delicious and made fresh for us. We also bought a gift card for a friend and know she will have a great time using it.

I ordered a hot tea, which was fine. The girl that took my order was a little crabby. But then he got up and ordered an espresso and got a free ice cream, so bring a cute guy with you to get good service. I must say the couches are really comfy and sitting by the fireplace was really nice, the fake log poster is a little cheesy. The espresso was really good, and the ice cream was okay. I would say it’s a nice place to sit and talk, plenty of room.

I like this place, but the coffee isn’t very good. Second time there and I always feel a little nauseated afterwards. The first time I ordered the affogato, which is one of my favourite drinks. I couldn’t finish it. The second drink was their breve and I couldn’t finish that either. The positive to this place is really the location and the inside space. It’s really cozy and if you have kids, it’s convenient and full of stuff to keep them occupied. I also recommend taking your drinks or food and walking around the area. There’s a gazebo not far from here that sits by the lake and it’s a great place to chill with your beverage.

Great place, the best espresso, and the service is very friendly. Has Kambucha, which can be a hard find in smaller towns. Ice cream, too. Has a very relaxed setting. Has a very energetic younger staff who is eager to please. Nice bagels and breakfast burritos.

The staff was friendly, but obviously way too high to be at work. I know coffee should be easy, but these baristas(Sunday August 232015) forgot half my order and I had to continue to remind them of things that we had paid and asked for. Also, the guy added cream to my iced coffee before giving it to me. Creaming a persons coffee is highly offensive. It was half milk, ¼ coffee and ¼ ice. Don’t attempt contacting them… their phone just rings and rings and rings.

Great Latte! Very friendly staff and great location has plenty of seating inside and out. Right on the boardwalk with great people watching. Pet friendly(outdoor area) it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the low key life with free wifi.

Coffee is good but they do not have enough milk alternatives to choose from — only soy. Gluten free treats are yummy but not homemade. For those reasons, I’m only giving it 4 stars. Service is very quick and the outside area is nice to sit and watch the street traffic.

we stopped here for a coffee and smoothie to go. We were very pleased with the quality of the coffee. My husband is a coffee snob and really liked it. My son enjoyed his smoothie. The service was fine. They also have a lovely patio to sit outside and enjoy your coffee. I definitely recommend this place.

Great locally owned coffee shop. Mixup on our orders but owner came out personally to apologize. She was very genuine and who doesn’t like free refills. Great patio for people watching and comfortable couches to rest your feet.

A great place for coffee and a munchy but it is run by teenagers who are not on the ball. I walked out after waiting for 5 minutes to be served as they were in the back trying to catch up on food orders. They also can’t tell the difference between a chocolate or blue berry muffin.

Good service but a little clunky when ordering and getting food. Otherwise a good spot for gluten free and bagels.

They have good coffee but their staff isn’t particularly well trained or inspired to do a good job. I just went here and paid $ 4.59 for a large self serve coffee. #ripoffcity There are better coffee shops in grand lake that don’t rip you off and the staff actually wants to be at work.

Cute place! Came here while on vacation to a family cabin and stopped for some coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. It atmosphere was perfect and just what we needed after coming from the hustle and bustle of LA. You walk in and are greeted by a table of games and couches. Great atmosphere, great drinks, great company.

My new husband and I stopped here after our drive on Trail Ridge Road and enjoyed our tea on the lake. The ladies that prepared our beverages were very kind and had a friendly personality even though we were obvious tourists. If I lived in Grand Lake, I would go here every day.

The place is adorable — warm and inviting when you walk in… but that’s it! We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, without anyone even acknowledging our presence. When I asked the woman in the back, who had obviously seen us(as she’d previously asked if I was saying ‘hi’ to her?) a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question about the menu she snapped back«Can’t you see I’m doing something!?» The best coffee doesn’t make up for horrible, rude customer service.

Pleasantly disappointed with the custom service. We were in Grand Lake, CO last year for about a week and I went down to The Hub Coffee multiple times and enjoyed the coffee and staff. This time around was different. My fiancé & I stopped in for a quick latte Sunday, September 14th @ 1:45pm and the barista(younger gal) was very rude. I did years of restaurant and coffeehouse work as a Manager, Barista, etc– and I know we all have our bad days, but come on. When we ordered our two hot drinks it almost seemed like a hassle for her. Another Barista and two customers came in after we paid for our drinks and were waiting. The other 2 customers got their drinks before us after a 10 minute wait(not a big deal, but still). She said ‘Here!’ when handing me our drinks. Don’t let a single staffing snafu change your mind though, this is a traditional ‘local coffeehouse’ with a lot of potential.

I love the Hub. I visit a friends cabin near Grand Lake and I make daily visits to The Hub. Thanks for the free wifi — it helps to touch base with the world while I am relaxing and hunting moose with my Canon. Thanks for the great environment, the yummy coffee and the clean restrooms!

Stopped in yesterday morning to get some pre-skiing breakfast burritos to go. Choice of bacon or sausage; would have loved a veggie option! They were good-sized but still not sure they warranted the $ 6. The cubed potatoes were underdone. I liked the egg, cheese and green chile though. My husband wasn’t impressed by his plain black coffee but our friend liked her chai. They also offer a bunch of different breakfast breads, muffins and pastries as well as bagels with schmear or bagel breakfast sandwiches. The interior was pretty spacious and cool and they had a large outdoor patio that was covered in snow this time of year, but this is a place that looked fun to relax in on a lazy morning. We didn’t have much time to hang around on this particular morning but I wouldn’t mind coming back next time I was in town.
