I was calling around, looking for a basic Kindle that would allow me to take advantage of other features of my Amazon Prime membership, and ended up driving to 303 Pawn Shop to check out the selection I was told they had. The clerk presented three, all in good condition, but the largest one exhibited a couple of minor scratches. I wasn’t needing anything major since I already have a tablet (iPad) and a «phablet» (Galaxy Note 3), so I purchased one of the smaller ones for $ 60. Within a couple of days I realized that there was a known software glitch affecting it. I called the Pawn Shop and advised of the problem. The clerk told me they had a few more in stock, so come on back and pick out another. I wound up with a larger, much nicer, faster HD Kindle with more space (8gb to 16gb) for only $ 40 more, plus the owner gave me a discount for my trouble. I’m very pleased with their customer service and the quality of their products, and I would definitely recommend.
