I’m not Grand Prairie proficient, so hungry before a concert at Verizon Wireless Center(next to horse races venue) I ventured into restaurant row(or hopefully one of them) in GP. A variety of Mexican joints, we wanted something ‘non-chainy’ and independently owned and guessed Hacienda America would do it. Service was nice, by the waitress and the manager or owner. The music in the jukebox was lively but VERY loud. The food had flavor but the meat was very greasy. Guacamole was lame, yes to the avocado but where’s the flavor? Good guacamole take thought and love. Margarita was watered down. Sorry to say, but what looked like a promising dive, is a not-so-good experience. The Gorillaz/N.E.R.D. concert afterwards was amazing(in spite of the corporate venue) without DART possibilities.
