I was disappointed with the offerings at my local big box depot store. I went in search of a nursery close by and found Pat’s Plants.
A small shop that has a nice selection of the things that sell. I do wish it was a little bigger but the staff was so sweet and helpful.
I came in with a specific project in mind for my front yard. I needed perennials and some potato vines. I was able to find both and for a very low price. It’s weeks later and all the plants I bought are going strong and look beautiful. My flowers have been blooming very nicely and I have new blooms at least twice a week. The vines are also growing at a nice rate.
I’m happy with the product I purchased and the price I paid. I will be heading back for my yearly purchase of poinsettias when the time comes!

Pat’s is the best source for culinary & medicinal herbs in DFW.
They have all the hard to find herbs: rue, tansy, wormwood, curry plant, vicks plant, etc… along with a half dozen different kinds of basil, oregano, and mint.
And if they don’t have it they can most likely order it.
During the spring season they also carry dozens of different kinds of peppers & tomatoes, along with all variety of different vegetable plants.
Just like the herbs: if you don’t find what you’re lookin’ for they can likely special order it for you.
