Waffle House

If you want mediocre food and poor service, this place is the perfect addition to your Saturday morning breakfast.
It’s odd for the eggs to be ice cold when they’re cooked 5ft away from where you’re sitting, and the dishwater slung onto the countertop goes well with a side of hash browns and coffee.
Cashing out took a bit longer than expected. I’m glad my server had the opportunity to finish flirting with the manager before cashing me out (especially considering his girl who works in customer service at Walmart).
2 stars for the food… when it wasn’t competing with the dishwater.

First time that I have been to a waffle house in this location in this state. This was by far the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The only thing that I would recommend for waffle house is that they need a ordering system because everything goes off of memory and so their time efficiency to be much improved

I have been to many waffle house locations over the years and I honestly I don’t expect much. But this location omg and Jesus Christ of latter day saints. This one is the worse. I am only speaking on the late night shift. This was truly a bad experience and I rarely have them.
We waited over like 15 minutes just to take our food order and then another 20 minutes to get our food. Then when it came it was all screwed up.
It took a lot not for me to get upset. I know their busy but I have to other places just as busy and the staff handled it like a champ. But not here super slow service hardly any apology.
If you happen to be in the Grand Prairie area near I20 and thinking about food from the waffle house just keep on going and don’t look back ever.

Worst Waffle House I have ever been too. The employees were having an argument right in front of all the customers. Our server never said one word to us. Will never go back here again.

Went there with my mom during my visit to TX. I haven’t had Waffle House in years and by far the best food I ever had for a reasonable price. Definitely going back when I head back to visit.

I know not to expect much when going to a waffle house but this one is a joke. The staff that we had contact with was awful. Our waiter spoke a total of 5 – 6 words to us the entire time. He took our order by walking up to our table and staring at us without speaking. It took forever to get our food as well. Guess it’s ihop next time I’m in the mood for a cheap breakfast.

If I could give negative stars I certainly would. I understand that I’m reviewing the dollar general of food chains and there is only so much you can really expect from a place like this. Having said that, I had the worst experience at this location I’ve ever had at a «restaurant», ever. We will not return. At least the food they actually brought to us and got right wasn’t cold. That’s the best I can say.

Who doesn’t like waffles and coffee? Sure you have been to one Waffle House you have been to them all, but the formula works. The prices are very affordable and it’s no frills dining. Also is Waffle House was a person it would be the worlds greatest hipster. It’s retro kitsch without even trying.

The best time to go is around 2 to 5 am any day. Why? because thats when all the strippers get off work and go here to eat.
