I’ve been frequenting Chinese buffets since before I can remember and although it’s been quite some time since I’ve visited one, my recent visits here during Christmas break proved fruitful. I like this place! Ever since I tried sushi at Yummy Buffet in Chicago, any Chinese buffet that serves sushi is a winner in my book. Yes Buffet not only serves sushi, they serve about 5 kinds, and they also have a mongolian stir-fry section. There is plenty of variety here and you are sure to find something you will like. Their spring rolls are the bomb-flaky, crispy, and piping hot through and through! Chicken dishes, beef dishes, seafood dishes, sauteed veggies, salad bar, fruit and dessert bar, three different kinds of soups(egg drop soup is GREAT), and a few american entrees to boot-can’t beat it. I also love how they serve fried sweet plantains, a respectful nod to the Latin and African populations that you see dining here. Love it! It does get very crowded on Sundays. For two people the wait wan’t very long though. On weeknights getting a table doesn’t take more than a few minutes. Your table will be assigned a server and they are great about keeping your glass filled with your beverage of choice and the table cleared. Keep in mind that drinks are not included with the price of the buffet. Still though – $ 9.59 for an adult buffet is pretty good. And, if you shop at Kroger, you can sometimes find 10% off coupons for Yes Buffet on the back of your receipt!

Food is average for a Chinese buffet, nothing special. However, the service was amazing. My cup was never empty and our table was always cleared promptly.

Seriously! ! This place was disgusting. Yuck! Food looks ok but the place smells and looks outdated. Seats are old and look like they have never been cleaned. This place needs a serious make over!

Great buffet variety and good price. Dinner is under $ 10 for adults, and under $ 5 for kids. This Chinese buffet is definitely a little above average compared to similar style and price range buffets. Unless you have some kind of extraordinary or unrealistic expectation you won’t be disappointed with this buffet. The sushi is typical for this range of buffet. Also has a Mongolian grill — we did not try it but I looked at the meat selection and the cuts looked nicely trimmed and as fresh as you’d expect, and same for the assorted veggies. My family will definitely come back.

Love this place! My whole family loves to eat here even my 8 year old and 3 year old! The sushi selection is good, could be better. The fruit always taste sweet and ripe. The selection of good is good. There is something for everyone!

This place is good for the convenience of closeness to home. The food is ok, what I like about it is very nice service and wide variety of food.

MSG everywhere! It was okay. I don’t expect much from buffets. It was edible. Lots of selection of chickens. From sesame to orange to honey chicken. I really liked the hot and sour soup. Sushi was bleh. All in all it was edible but don’t expect much. Also, at the end, they charge a gratitude fee so up to you if you want to put tip on the table of not.

I don’t give one star reviews very often because I feel that the restaurant has to be really awful to receive a one star. Yes Buffet deserves the one star. Food was two stars. The Mongolian grill only had four choices of protein: beef, sausage, «scallop,» and unknown white meat(chicken or pork). The«scallop» was really imitation crab meat, which is some whitefish(e.g., pollack). The sushi was warm and«meh.» The rest of the buffet(dessert, fruit, Asian dishes, seafood) was also«meh.» Do NOT try the meat on a stick. Service was three stars. The wait staff refilled our drinks and took our used plates away, but they did not initially deliver some of our drink order and we had to ask them again. The three stars is mainly because they did not understand how to calculate our check. We had a 10% off coupon and the waitress insisted our bill was 10% off. Because we had individual bills, it was easy to see that the 10% was not taken off our bill. So, we had to talk to the manager. Management was negative five stars. The manager told us that the 10% for the coupon was taken off our bill. I asked her to add the two numbers from my individual bill on a calculator to see if it matched the subtotal on the individual bill. It did not and she said, that it was too late to change the bill and we would not each receive 10% off the bill. I told her that I thought that was dishonest and asked whether she wanted to run her business in a dishonest manner. She relented and gave me the 10% off. Then, I paid my bill. She then told me that it was too late for the rest of my party(all 9 of them) to receive the 10% off becuase they already paid their individual bills. At this point, the rest of my group felt like it was not worth arguing. I told the manager that she is the reason why Asian people have a bad name and yes, I am Asian so I am directly affected by her dishonest actions. While I was arguing with the manager, a mother/son customer was arguing with the cashier about having a mandatory tip added to their bill. The cashier said that a mandatory 18% gratuity is added to large parties. The mother said that there were only two people in her party; and she already left a cash tip for the waitress. The cashier would not take the mandatory tip for large parties off her bill. If you want to help perpetuate dishonest business practices, then support this restaurant. I hope they go out of business because dishonest people should not be rewarded for their actions.

I’ve been here a few times now and it is okay. There’s usually a nice variety, although not a huge one, and the seating area is big enough that it never seems crowded. The food is good but nothing special. Usually I go here when I want Chinese but not any particular dish and I’m always satisfied.

I came here thinking it wasn’t gonna be that bad after reading the reviews, well it is. There’s no variety. The chicken looks nasty and spoiled. Some chicken is fried twice cause I can see the layers. Avoid this place.

We have been living in the area for over year now and everytime we drive by this place its super busy. Must be a decent place to eat right? So tonight we decided to try it and we were OHSOWRONG. Hands down worst«chinese» buffet ive ever been to. How can the buffet tables put off so much steam yet the food be soooo room temperature. Cold fried strimp with soggy batter. Fried rice with a weird fishy taste. Whatever the meat on a stick is tasted like liver. Didnt get to try the mongolian grill side due to nobody at that station to cook the food. If i could give it negative stars i would. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately this was my first and last visit. Don’t eat the fried eggrolls. The kung-pao chicken and hot and sour soup was good. Sushi was not cold. So for $ 9 will go elsewhere.

We went to this place just to check out the buffet — it looked good but after we ate a little bit we have decided to never go back. Makes me sad, seems like things could have been less all fried, but maybe thats just what buffet’s have these days. Im a healthy eater and didn’t have much to choose from. Now when we drive by its more of a «NO!» with thumbs down…

They took us(husband and I) to the table next trash where waitress are staying. I smell trash and I can see they throw foods ppl left on the plate… It made me sick… I asked to move the table and moved. But already I didn’t want to eat anymore… Few minutes later, I saw they took 2 guys to that our table… I don’t understand why they keep doing this even they got plenty tables! About food, it’s okay. Just okay. It means not good. Sorry.

Islands of food trays! All varieties of chicken in flavored corn syrup. Sushi bar! Full of lukewarm sushi when it’s supposed to be cold, and ice cold if it’s tempura battered. Mongolian Grill! Looked a-ok. The boy said it was good; promptly filled up on fried noodles. Desert! Mm. Hydrogenated, pre-made cakes. A staple at such buffets. Perfunctory service! Not even a cracked smile. It’s coo, I waited tables the same way.
