I can’t say enough great things about Preusser. Dave was exceptional to work with. He was informative but also very comforting. Buying a ring is a big deal. He along with my husband’s help designed the most phenomenal engagement ring for me. We also picked out our wedding rings from them. They are very helpful and make you fee like your ring is the most important ring on the planet, which it is :).

After reading the two reviews for Preusser Jewelers on Unilocal and not knowing where to start with our search for the perfect engagement ring for our elopement in 5 days, my girlfriend and I decided to check the place out.
We connected with David, the president, who helped us for nearly an hour and was incredibly cordial, informative, and literally made the entire experience painless and very enjoyable. I have never had a better experience shopping for something so meaningful… it was no pressure, relaxed, and just an all-​round joy of a trip.
We found the perfect ring and diamond, even found a wedding band for myself AND David had his team turn around everything in 4 days to assure that I had a day to propose and a ring for the elopement ceremony.

Let me begin by saying I am not a local, I live in New York City and was first introduced to Preusser’s from a family friend whose taste I admire greatly. I was shopping for engagement rings at the time, in 2010, and having an insane amount of trouble locating something unique, timeless, and brilliant. Upon recommendation, I called Preusser’s and spoke to Debra. Being my first large jewelry purchase, she was extremely patient and understanding of all my concerns and million questions before committing to purchase.
What did I take away from that first interaction? The most loved piece of jewelry my wife owns, her engagement ring, which garner’s an incredible amount of attention for it’s unique setting, brilliance, and beauty. I have literally not seen the same ring anywhere, which says a lot, being that I am a New Yorker. I owe that to Preusser’s!
When it came time to purchase a 30^th birthday gift, Debra was the first person on my mind. I reached out to her with a few ideas– I wanted a 100 inch strand of ivory pearls. Debra immediately went to work, sending me images of her suggestions. When they were not exactly what I was searching for in color or length, Debra reached out to a supplier and found me EXACTLY what I was looking for. My wife wears them almost every day.
Lastly, expecting the arrival of our first child this year, I was eager to contact Preusser’s to build a custom set of diamond stud earrings. Without hesitation, Debra immediately understood what my expectations would be and began sending me images of beautiful diamond pairs. One of the pairs I liked (not the least expensive of the sets she showed me, no less) Debra decided she was not entirely happy with (honesty from a retailer/​sales, a rarity…) and asked that I give her another day to view pairs and see what we could come up with. Not even 12 hours later, I received an image of the most perfect pair of cushion cut diamonds! A third time, Debra and Preusser’s hit it out of the park! I was thrilled. In less than a week, they were set in platinum as I requested and ready to be sent.
The beautiful light green packaging is now cherished in my home. I’m proud to have these items to pass down in my family and wouldn’t consider shopping elsewhere, without question.

Upon the recommendation of my brother and best friend, I went to Preusser Jewelers when shopping for an engagement ring. My (very particular) fiancé and I shopped for engagement rings for about 16 months, and Debra stuck with us the whole time. She helped my fiancé understand what she wanted in a ring, and kept in frequent contact. She was very flexible and creative in coming up with ideas for the ring, and was never short or frustrated with us throughout the long process. Her knowledge of jewelry and diamonds was very helpful, and I felt her honesty was unmatched. Debra was very supportive and extremely excited when we found THE ring.
