The restaurant in the LAX Airport in the American Airlines terminal is awesome. Great affordable food and the service is first class.

Stopped here before a 3pm flight on June 2^nd. I ordered the tuna melt. After waiting for 20 minutes, what I received was a tuna wrap. I told the counter server that this was not a tuna melt and was told that the cheese inside was melted. Of course I didn’t have time to request something else. It was a bad sandwich, cold, unappealing, a waste of $ 13. I was especially disappointed, as I’ve had breakfast there before and it was decent. However, I wrote a letter of complaint on the Wolfgang Puck website and received an almost immediate reply from Richard Moore in Customer Service. He refunded my credit card for the sandwich and apologized profusely. He could not have been kinder. So I give them a D for food, but a big A for customer service. I will try it again because of his timely and active response.

Pretty darn nasty. Ordered spaghetti and calamari. Spaghetti was extremely overcooked with bland sauce. Calamari was all breading and the pieces with some actual «meat» in it ended being mushy and did not taste fresh.
Service was extremely slow and we watched our food sit in the window for ten minutes wondering if that was our food or not. It was. Workers just didn’t give af.
You’d think with a brand like Wolfgang Puck that something good would come out of there but avoid at all costs and save your money. Overpriced, slow service, and subpar food

Waited 25 min for a tuna melt that was horrible. Staff was rude and when I inquired about it they didn’t care.

Worse Worse Worse place inside an airport that I have ever been! It was an absolutely miserable experience. I go to the counter and order The Club Sandwich, the menu says it consists of, white cheddar, turkey, ham, lettuce, tomato bacon, herb aioli, fried egg. I asked for no ham, no tomato. The first sandwich they bring out has tomatoes on it. I told her I ordered no ham, no tomato. So she goes to the kitchen and orders it again for me. The second sandwich, she tells me has tomatoes also, so we go through all that again. I’ve been waiting 25 mins now. Luckily I’m right near my gate, my flight is boarding. So I tell her, I need the right sandwich, or my money back. She brings out a third sandwich. This time, no tomatoes! However, it has ham, avocado, and no egg. I wound up just taking the damn sandwich, I figured a refund, would take another 30mins. Had I not been pressed for time, I would have complained to the manager, and explained that this was the 3^rd wrong sandwich that I was given. The sandwich looks good. However, I do not eat ham or avocado. Total waste of time and money. I blame the girl in front. I gave her my order 3xs, it’s her job to communicate the order to the person making the sandwich. Don’t think I’ll ever return to that nightmare.

Don’t bother with the tiny salty bacon flavored scone, repulsive. The yogurt parfait lacked freshness and the sliced strawberries were fermenting. No stars

I found service here to be very nice. The counter people were just processing orders, but for a fast casual restaurant, the busboys were very attentive, stopping by people’s tables and asking if they needed anything.
I was pleasantly surprised about this for an airport restaurant.

The food is pretty good here, especially for the airport, but the SERVICE is what bumped this review up to a 5. Burnie gave some of the best service I’ve received at a restaurant of any kind. She went above and beyond — getting people water, refilling water bottles, getting whatever we needed. Plus the cherry on top was the service with a smile. Next time I’m flying through LA, I’ll drop in here again with fingers crossed that she’s working.

I agree with most reviews that the service is lacking. I got my pizza in 15 minutes, but this guy to my right waited 25 mins for a simple order of fries that never came (he cancelled and had to catch a flight) and the woman to my left waited nearly half an hour for a simple soup (she had to push the bartenders to speed it up).
Bartenders are nice folks but don’t seem very aware of what’s going on.
Pizza wise, it was alright. Nothing special, just a decent pizza. Nothing more, nothing less.
Great bar if you have a lot of time to kill, but for the time efficient traveler, good luck.

20 minutes to get a salad. Are you kidding me?! It wasn’t even busy. They even wouldn’t give a refund without a receipt because they never gave me one. Ended up walking away with no salad since I would have been late for my flight. Hope you like stealing from your customers because in essence that’s just what you did.

This is a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. So you would expect cool quality customer service. Not here. Airport GHETO staff.
Huge line and 4 registers but only 1 open. Until we get near the front of the line then a smack speaking manager open a 2^nd one and starts helping guest BEHIND me. They all get served before me.
When I speak up — she is rude and unapologetic
Then the food takes ridiculously long to get.
Total failure here. And it’s all about poor staffing and poor management.

Super expensive but I guess what can I expect from an airport spot. Bartenders were awesome though and made a great drink

When in the airport I always go for the simplest items on the menu. Had a very freshly made egg salad sandwich served on a tasty wheat bun and a very nice butternut squash soup. Did I pay more than 20 bucks? Of course! But portions were generous and the food was good.

I give this 5 stars for people to read. These people are horrible! my family & I waited over 30 min for our food. Every time we went up to check they’ve told us that our rest of the food is coming and that they just placed the food they had ready, on the side. This place is a wreck! & so unorganized

The servers all seem very miserable. Takes forever to make the food. Best thing there is the baked goods and pizza

Was happy to see this in LAX and looked forward to grabbing dinner before my flight… Ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and Chardonnay… Unfortunately I have nothing to report on the quality of the food, 30 minutes later, and nothing. When I asked my bartender, Alex if it was coming, I noticed he just then punched it in his POS terminal… Unfortunately I was out of time and had to catch my flight. Boo Alex, now I have nothing but peanuts for dinner to look forward too!

Had the American Breakfast here and it was really good… Scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes (so good!), chicken Apple sausage (can get bacon instead), and toast. It was all yummy and freshly prepared. Much better than what I’m used to in an airport. The muffin I had was also very good.

Fine if you have time to kill at the airport. If you need to catch a flight forget about it. Just ordered a salad and it took forever. So disappointed. They have no sense of urgency even after you tell them your flight is boarding.

Great to see LAX has finally updated its amenities and so having a Wolfgang Puck styled option is great news.
Unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by them serving a chicken burger where the chicken was pink and raw in the middle. Having taken a bite to see this I hope the next 8 hours of flying are trouble free.
I was refunded my money and given an alternative and the staff were understanding and professional about this.

What a great surprise when I flew out of LAX Terminal 6 (American formerly US Airways). Across from Gate 62 they opened this awesome restaurant. The counter is well lit and aesthetically pleasing. The seating area has lots of low and high tables. I did not use the bar but it fit right in with the restaurant.
I had the American Breakfast: scrambled eggs, tasty Apple Sausage, whole seasoned baby potatoes and wheat toast. They give you a number and the courteous server brings it to your table.
The eggs were fresh. The sausage was the highlight. The potatoes were filling. The whole wheat bread was good quality.
I guess it should not surprise me coming from Wolfgang Puck but this is one of my top 3 airport meals and definitely my best LAX meal ever.
