Atmosphere is cute but that’s where the good stops.
1. Coffee — Was very weak and watered down, tried less cream and still meh.
2. Food — I ordered the Strawberry Shortcakes and was quite excited, sadly they didn’t have anything much inside of them so they were rolled up pancakes only (see pic) and my Fiancé’s breakfast burrito had about two tiny pieces of meat.
Overall felt they were very cheap with ingredients.

Probably the most lack luster breakfast I’ve had. Overpriced for what you get on the ridiculous plates. Look nothing like the photos posted here. Both omelettes we got were cold. Had the farmers and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The other was the New Mexican. Would have been great to have gotten the salsa and sour cream it was suppose to come with instead of having to ask for it a while later. Everything in it was thrown in at the end obviously.
This was my first and last time I’ll go there. Guess most people like mediocrity.

I went to The Omelette Shoppe today with my daughter and grandkids. We had an unpleasant experience. I ordered the pancake platter (pancakes, eggs and bacon). I had barely eaten any of my pancakes and I found a hair in them (cooked in it) and another hair under the stack of pancakes. I told the waitress and said I didn’t want any more food. She said ok and took my plate away. I also said I wanted it removed from the bill. She did not apologize. I asked for the manager, she said she was sorry and «that’s why they wear hairnets «. But it didn’t seem sincere. I will not return to eat there.

Food was very good. Even at 7 am the server was pleasant, coffee was hot and atmosphere was nice. Recommend for out of town visitors. Very nice experience. Thanks!

Stop over at Grand Rapids for ArtPrize, look up Unilocal for good breakfast and the Omelet shoppe pop up, give it a try the waitress was great, I ordered to split an omelet with my wife and they serve it in 2 plates for us without us even asking. good was good!

I had the Blue Lump Crab Benedict and it was the best I’ve ever had. It came with a side of tomato basil soup which I thought was an odd combination but ended up being the best soup I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious!

Wonderful breakfast! Portions were huge and food was excellent. Best biscuits and gravy my husband has ever had. The strawberry pancakes were phenomenal! We stopped in at 830a and were seated right away.

Biscuits and gravy was phenomenal. Coffee was great. Nice atmosphere. Overall fairly priced except side items (over $ 3 for a side of bacon). But will definitely be back!

Good food, great service. Got the Eggs Benedict, and it was as an Eggs Benedict should be. Fiancé really enjoyed the bananas foster french toast. We will be back!

Oh my! Tried the blueberry cheesecake pancakes. Awesome! These have to be the tastiest pancakes I have ever had. The not too sweet pancakes, creamed sauce with blueberries on top… delicious!

Love the homey atmosphere when I come in. The food is always good and even when they’re busy I’ve not had bad service. Love that I can get my coffee in a French press!

We have eaten here several times now. All the food has been good, and the service has always been fast and friendly. The Lealanau omelet is awesome.

Very good breakfast and nice kids menu. Giving 3 stars instead of 4 due to weak coffee and they sat us right by the very loud server station even though restaurant was mostly empty. So just ask not to sit there. We will probably go back eventually.

I’m not a huge breakfast fan, but I found plenty to like on the menu here for some imaginative breakfast choices. or lunch. Lots of omelets (natch) and scrambles. My most recent meal here was an Alaskan scramble which had seafood folded into scrambled eggs and sprinkled with dill… great for this seafood lover! I also liked the thick toast accompanying my breakfast… hearty marble rye… with some homemade jam and a side of potatoes fried potatoes. This is quite near to where Tim’s parents live, so we’ve been here a couple of times and found the meals consistently good and the service always cheerful and efficient. Easy parking in front of this place that is tucked into a larger mall.

There’s a variety of options here ranging from omelets (obviously) to pancakes to sandwiches. I got the Eggs Benedict. It was pretty good but very salty. The service was good and the waitresses are friendly.
They have fresh squeezed orange juice that looked really good as well as freshly baked pastries. I’ll have to try that next time!

Super fresh and delicious ingredients! Fresh squeezed juices! I had the goat cheese omelette and strawberry orange juice! My friend had the eggs, meat and pancakes special and loved it!

Great food overall. My girlfriend and I are eating paleo and they were very accommodating to our needs when it came to ingredients or double checking cooking styles, etc. Both of us had scrambles with sides of fruit. The scrambles were good and the fruit was fresh.
My girlfriend commented on the fact that the turkey sausage was mediocre compared to some others that she has had.
My only frustration was the serving staff. All of them were in a hurry and it made you feel like you were constantly holding them up.
Overall, good breakfast spot.
