Poor food. Sliders were a microwave thing out of a box. Hamburger was poor.

Traveling the 12 miles on Illinois route 23 between Ottawa and Streator can be a bit tiring, but wait there is an Oasis Jr’s Bar & Grill. Located just outside of GrandRidge(a dry town) this place has been a local Haven for as long as I can remember, I used to live in GrandRidge for a year & I always used to stop in to order food and it was awesome I remember it fondly so much I decided to swing by again after a decade of absence. Fast Foreward 12 years later: My companion was bit on the hungry side, and we where on the highway heading toward Ottawa so we made the stop. The décor has not changed still your good old country bar, and it still had locals razing the out of towners(all in good fun). I was disappointed to see the menu had changed significantly. I ordered a cup of chili and my friend a pork tenderloin no bun, we both ordered droughts Bud light and Miller(the options in country bars like these are limited) unfortunately the bartender switched our drinks :-/the chili was alright nothing special but the tenderloin was crisp and golden thus saving the review from a two star burial. Jr’s has no real staple if you want a place to hang out and dance the night away look some where else, if your local you already know about this place and really that is who they cater to the rural locals so everything is pretty cut and dry, if you some how manage to get out this way, I would not consider this to be a necessary stop but it may hold some convince for you if you just want to grab a quick drink on the go.
