Not sure why haven’t eaten here sooner.
Food was great.
Burger was huge, had everything on it and it was good.
More fries than a normal person could possibly eat.
Went back and had the Philly cheese steak. It was also good even tho it was on a hamburger bun and not a roll.
Going to go there for breakfast soon.
Friendly staff and it was clean.
Only complaint is the booths. They are small and a fat guy has trouble fitting so I sat a t one of their 2 plastic tables.

Excellent burgers as burgers go, not the production line type from the big chains. Fresh ingredients makes all the difference if you are in the area l assure you that it’s worth the stop.

«I ate it I’ll rate it» what a deal on their Shrimp Baskets compared to a Restaurant. Fantastic Fish and Chips also a great deal.
Fast service good burgers inside seating and drive through. You pay for each extra tarter cup. No substituting tater tots or onion rings in their Basket meals. Good Hamburgers.

Was charged twice, contacted restaurant, they have failed to contact or refund my money. Food was decent, but last two times it took almost 25 minutes for food. The best thing they have going for them is the cyclones, (way better than blizzards in DQ Grandview). They just should move a little faster, and maybe label there cyclone flovors. This new girl apparently didn’t know what crushed oreo looked like.

If you’re looking for a great burger, try somewhere else. We had Eli & Kathy’s for dinner tonight and we were less than impressed. My fiancé’s burger party was very thin and the bun had been very squished. The fries were soft and limp and quality had been sacrificed. Every time we go there, the employees are less than thrilled to be at work. If their morale was altered, the quality of the restaurant (including the food preparation and customer service) would probably change for the better.

We were looking for a burger and a pop while we were in town buying a car. It appeared the options were The Dairy queen or Mexican food, until we saw this little gem on the side of the road. They were doing a special of two burgers, two fries for 3.85. Kathy the owner took our order and even brought our food to us with a big smile. All the staff was super polite and the restaurant was clean and tidy. We would go back anytime we find our self in town.

Grandview’s bar far only decent spot to grab a burger. Eli and Kathy’s has been around for decades and certainly continues to shell out some of tastiest local fast food with a super clean dining area.
The best part is that the menu offers up some variety; salad bar, veggie burger, and the best and greasiest grilled cheese of my life. Plenty of soft serve ice creams too!
I tried the veggie burger and it was pretty standard and dry, if not for the condiments I would have passed off on it. Portions here are pretty large and if your really feeling up to it: have the gizzards.

During a wine tasting trip we stayed with my friends in Grandview. Not realizing that there isn’t a lot of options for food in town, we drove around until we found Eli and Kathy’s Family Restaurant.
Oh. My. Gawd.
Best Burger I have had in a really long time! It tasted amazing, and was the perfect amount of «fast food» and «home cooked food».
Further, Kathy was the one who waited on us, and she was nice as ever. She was patient with me (I had no idea what I was ordering at first) and then came around to our table and asked us questions about our going’s on’s around Grandview.
All in all, this place deserves it’s 5 stars. I wish It wasn’t so far away so I could go back more frequently!

Let’s face it… If you’re reading a review about Eli and Kathy’s, you are probably in Grandview. Which means you have few other options, or you’re just checking in on your Unilocal app or you want to confirm what you already know…
Burgers. They’re just average, comparable to those of Burgermaster for those of us from the westside [and we all know 2pac was right when he said the westside is the best side]. Friendly enough people, good enough food. Nothing that boyfriend misses home for.
I like the double dog sandwich or something similarly named — it reminds me of a concoction I used to make when I worked at Dairy Queen. Two split, grilled hot dogs on a bun with relish and other standard toppings. Tasty.
Gizzards here are also pretty good.
It’s inevitable, though… if we’re in Grandview, we’ll most likely have at least one meal at Eli and Kathy’s… eh, it’s not so bad ;)

YUM! This is the best veggie burger on I-​90 (or is it still I-​82 here?). Big, fresh, dripping with gloppy stuff.
Also great milkshakes, clean & comfy booths, and an honor-​system book exchange. A must-​stop.

I used to work here in high school so I have a lot of insider’s information. The food is GREAT! All fresh, even the tarter sauce is homemade. This is what a burger joint should be. I will say that as long as you don’t work there the owners are sweet hometown folk but they treat their workers like crap… they short you on pay and act like you’re the scum of the earth. Eat here don’t work here. Also, I would avoid this place if you’re a cop, teacher, principal, or just an all around asshole because if memory serves me right these people would get a little something ‘special’ in their food. (minus one star for the owners)
