Your experience at Freddy’s will almost certainly depend on the hairdresser who cuts or styles your hair. This is somewhat true at all salons but at Freddy’s it is of the utmost importance. Zotti gave me my mohawk and I had a fantastic experience; she was very nice, and asked me questions rather than assuming. I got EXACTLY what I wanted as a result. She seemed excited to be working with my hair. About a month later I returned just for a touch-up(to get the sides shaved again, and to get my bangs trimmed) and Amanda was the only one available. Amanda behaved as though I was bothering her immensely, and botched every aspect of this seemingly simple request. My bangs were ridiculously uneven(my boyfriend inquired on the way out: «Did you ask for one side to be so much longer than the other?»), my sides were irritated from the way she shaved them, and there was shampoo in my hair. I will not be going back because of this woman; she made me uncomfortable. I can only equate it to a high-school lunchroom situation: I was the new kid and she was the queen bee, too good to associate with me. One more gripe I’ve always had with Freddy’s is the parking situation. It is located on a very busy street and the parking lot is in the rear. The parking lot has 3 spaces and they are always full(employees park there) so you are forced to awkwardly parallel park on the street behind it. Long story short, only go to Freddy’s if you know what hairdresser you want and they just happen to work there. I lucked out the first time but the second time ruined me for the place, and it isn’t even worth going back for my original girl.
