Grew up near this tiny spot and always loved their specials. Reasonably priced and their catfish is some of the best. They have always been very friendly and my kids love the staff. I have not had anything on the menu I did not like.

My boyfriend grew up right down the road from Itty Bitty and introduced me to this little hole-in-the-wall last year. We go every time we visit the St. Louis area, sometimes more than once! Let me just say, they have the BEST burgers. I’m 600 miles away but I wish I could have one right now! Delicious food, awesome prices, very friendly staff. Definitely worth trying, you won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to go when we visit granite city this weekend.

Best burger in town. Fantastic little diner that rarely disappoints. Friendly service, very inexpensive. A great alternative to fast food. Great homemade soups, wife loves the fish sandwich. Haven’t tried the desserts, but they sound great!

Great Service! Good Food! And GREAT prices. Read reviews on Unilocal, and stopped in because we were at the Koa down the road. Complete hole in the wall. But totally worth it if you are done with chain restaurants. Family of 5… 2 adults, 16, 13, and 7 ate for $ 32… Awesome!

Great portions for the price. Good food, good service for this little hole in the wall. The interior was a bit gross but other than that, it was good overall.

We stopped here based on Unilocal reviews. We each had burgers, fries, pie and drinks and the total bill was under $ 20 The food was good and the other diners were interesting. An old gentleman met us at the door and said he had been waiting for us to get out butts in there. We were not disappointed.

This is the most adorable little restaurant on Route 66! I had the delicious special of the day — pork roast with a bunch of sides and my son had the best grilled cheese! The waitress was really sweet and answered lots of questions about the restaurant and told us about her amazing cat who is kind of famous!(ask her!). The cook did some extra grill thing for my meat so it was extra yummy! The walls have license plates from around the US and various memorabilia from the 60s. We had a great time and I’m just sorry we were in a rush and couldn’t stay longer to hang out! AND the whole bill was about $ 11!

Pros: Great food, great value. Cons: None, unless you don’t like a casual diner atmosphere Itty Bitty is a true hole-in-the-wall. Nothing fancy here, but the food is great and you get somewhat large portions, making it a great value. I ordered chicken tenders. The batter coating was thick and crispy, the chicken was tender and moist. I wish I had tasted the pie, it sounded good. The place looks like, well, a diner, with some personalization via wall hangings like a license plate collection, a cartoon glass collection, or mining memorabilia. No swanky marble tiles or hardwood, but the place is in an older strip mall, so I don’t think anyone can get the wrong idea.

Itty Bitty has been in Mitchell for as long as I can remember. I went to school at Mitchell Elementary for a few years and my family ate there every so often. I go there probably once every two months. It is a great place to eat on Route 66
