My son has a sinus infection so we went to Walgreens care granite city. Took forever to see a NP. When we finally got in she spent almost the entire visit typing. My son gets a sinus infection every year with the change of the season. I explained this to her and our regular doctor has moved away. A antibiotic always fixes him. The NP would not prescribe him anything even though he hasn’t slept in 4 days because he is so sick. She is from another country and her English was very broken wich made it even harder to understand her. Horrible experience and we won’t be back… Walgreens you can do much better than this…

I’ve been to this Take Care Clinic twice as a last resort. The first time I had Strep throat and was misdiagnosed. I suppose the test was faulty because my throat looked ridiculous. The NP wasn’t able to do anything for me but I got a bill for $ 108. It was confirmed the next day with my GP that I did indeed have Strep and it had been so bad I was put on prednisone for the awful swelling. This last time I took my daughter for an ear infection. Again, they found nothing. But this was a different NP and this NP was incredibly slow and quite hard to understand. The NP spent most of the time typing, clicking one key at a time. Even though I made an appointment, I still waited an hour and we also spent an hour in the exam room… just to look in my daughters ear. Step it up, Walgreens.
