Pizza was pretty good, not the best I have had but good, service was fast and friendly and place was clean. I was disappointed that there was no outdoor seating area.

My favorite pizza in this area! I love getting a pepperoni/pineapple combo, and they’re spuds are amazing! Not a huge fan of the wings but I’ve only tried them once.

An update to my earlier post below. Abby’s reached out to me based on my comment which I really appreciate, so they do take the feedback to heart. As it turns out, the other Abby’s location is not 1.8 miles from my home(as indicated by Unilocal), but is 2.9 miles away, exceeding their 2−½ mile limit. At least one of their competitors has a 4 mile limit, so this restriction is costing them business, but I credit Abby’s for looking into the situation and getting back to me. For this reason, I am raising them from 1 – 3 stars. — — — — — — — – Jeez — I guess my business is not important to these guys. I called the other Grants Pass Abby’s which is only 1.8 miles away from my home, but they won’t deliver to my address since they are«on the other side of the river» so they referred me to this location. So… I called the Abby’s which is «on my side of the river», and 2.9 miles from my home and they said that I was too far out and their delivery limit is an address which is only about a quarter of a mile from my home. One of their competitors, located farther away got the business and the driver got a very nice tip. If Abby’s won’t go the extra quarter mile for their customers, I suspect they might not do the same with their on-site service. Customer service matters and Abby’s won’t be getting my business.

This is not pizza. It’s basically frozen pizza and they add the toppings. Looks like chuck e cheese pizza. Tastes like they warm it up just enough for the cheese to melt. Wouldn’t recommend this place is someone was in the mood for pizza. Looks like a good place to bring a bunch of kids to run a muck while the parents have some beers. 2stars because the food was tolerable but maybe it was because we were hungry. We definitely didn’t want the leftovers.

My first stop after 20 years away from home was Abby’s Pizza, and I was not disappointed. They lived up to every shining memory of what a pizza should be, and what my old school chums have bragged about to those of us who left the area. British hubby said it’s the best pizza he’s had in America.

Location, location, location. Being from the sunny side of California; the only problem with good pizza is the place it is served in. The building was run down; felt dirty and aged. The salad bar was lacking that California spunk! Everything looked bagged and recycled. The guy behind the counter was awkward and didn’t quite know how to ask if we had been helped yet; «um so like, you guys ready?» The pizza was delicious. But pizza is like free money– no one ever turns it down.

Fat delivery guy complained about walking up stairs to deliver. Earn your tip or drop it at the bottom and walk away empty handed. Seriously, I don’t want your sob story about having to walk up a flight of stairs as you pant over this sub-par grease pile. Your armpits will smell like this pizza tomorrow. It’s gross. Seriously, pour some tomato paste on a manilla envelope and rub a jock strap on it — BOOM! — Abby’s Pizza. RIP Pappy.

Some of the worst pizza I’ve had in a long time. I’d rather drive to Medford for Pizza.

Wow, disappointing! Just in for a quick lunch, two other orders in the building, quick salad bar sounded good, to bad it was nearly empty! Had to ask for forks and glasses, forks were all dirty but the manager seemed to have time to visit the gambling room ! Sad ! Want to know what Abby’s is supposed to be stop in at the Sutherland Abby’s !

Classic pizza place. Traditional décor and and arcade for a feeling like when I was a kid. Pizza is nothing unique: no wild and crazy fixins… It’s just good ol’ pizza, made well with great flavor. Fun. Family friendly. I like it. Would be nice if they accepted Discover. That was awkward. They could improve the craft beers on tap. Not a terrible selection, but could have more variety in style.

Ordered sausage and olive pizza and bread sticks(for our six y.o.). We enjoyed the pizza, although it was a little pricey. The sausage was the right amount of spicy and the sauce was flavorful. The cheese was good quality, not rubbery. Son did not like the bread sticks, and I agree that they were a little unusual. Solid pizza. We’ll come back.

Abby’s pizza was good, they use a lot of toppings, compared to other places that seem to think that’s where all their money goes. I like the fact that they delivered to a hotel, and when they did they brought a bunch of ranch. And, they delivery time was a lot faster than they even said it would be. Our main decision on picking Abby’s was another reviewers note on how it caused«pizza farts» within half an hour of eating this. We are traveling and it keeps us awake when we stink up the car, so we were looking forward to these so called«pizza farts»! We were definitely disappointed that we got little to no gas at all. He farted so loud, that I thought he ripped the bed sheet! I’m a little jelly.

Oh, Abby’s! The most legendary thing about eating here is the gnarly farts your body will produce about 30 minutes after eating the pizza. We can’t be the only ones! Come on people and admit it! The pizza itself, is pretty good. Very cheesy, large sizes, and lots of topping options. The delivery service is fast, friendly and the pizza is always fresh and hot. The spuds are pretty good. They are a little too greasy, but I guess that’s what you get when a potato chip and a french fry have a baby. Abby’s is a step above Little Caesar’s and Domino’s pizza by most people’s standards. However Little Caesar’s and Domino’s don’t give my family, friends and myself crippling gas. Ordering Abby’s has almost become a joke at this point. Friends are visiting and pizza sounds better then cooking… Friend–«Lets try this Abby’s place! I like to try local places.» Me–«OK, its decent pizza. Just wait about half hour after eating for the surprise!» Friend-” What surprise?“ Me– *Evil Laugh*

I have been visiting my family & eating this pizza for years… I love pizza & a salad bar… even a beer when not driving. This is the perfect family Pizza Parlor. I really enjoyed the BBQ Chicken pizza. :)

If this is what counts as ‘legendary’ in Grant’s Pass, i’ll have to remember not to stop in Grant’s Pass ever again. It was good enough, perfectly edible, but not legendary. It was also very slow. There wasn’t a big crowd, i didn’t see a lot of people coming in for carry-out orders, but it still took forever to get my pizza. There’s a huge arcade walled off on one side of the restaurant, which is great for keeping out-of-control children out of the way. I confess, mine was one of them, as the poor toddler had been trapped in a car all day and had some energy to burn. Despite sitting at the table closest to the arcade, i couldn’t hear his antics, so i’m pretty sure he wasn’t bothering any of the other patrons. In all, if you need a place to stop with the kids to get decent pizza while doing the I-5 thing, consider Abby’s. If you want legendary pizza, or even particularly good pizza, it’s probably not for you.

Legendary indeed. This pizza is terrible. Hands down worst I’ve ever had. For a month or two their sign read«We’ve got it good. New Pizza. Sausage Fest» They had no idea what they were advertising. Dumb and gross. Deadly combination.

I don’t know that I’d call the pizza at Abby’s «legendary» — it was ok – I will say this, their jojos(potato wedges for those not in the jojo know) were DAMN good… but, the pizza? Eh… it was alright. What was really awesome(besides the jojos) was the video poker room where I won $ 15. I love me a good video poker game… it really should be known as video crack, I’m addicted… ha.

Not the greatest of pizzas, but its a solid pie. The best thing about here is that everything the serve seams to go great with ranch. Their jojos are a must. They have a large seating area. So if you’re bringing your entourage you shouldn’t be left standing. Another important thing is the arcade. Their arcade is larger then most other pizza joints. So if you need a break for the kids just give them a pocket full of quarters and point towards the arcade, or in my case… I bring quartera and escape from the family into the arcade.
