I’m all about supporting local! Love my baristas at Rogue Roasters. It’s a nice relaxing atmosphere. I also appreciate the drive thru when I’m on the go!

In my opinion the coffee is good but not great. Definitely better than the Dutch Bros beans,?though. So they have that going for them. For the new location, it too, is good but not great. If you are someone who works on their computer or study’s and likes to find a good coffee shop to get their work done this really isn’t the best place. There is only two places inside you can get power and it always seems like you are trying to fight for a spot along the window to get power. And if you are on the east side window there is no protection from the blazing sun and often causes you to get over heated and puts terrible reflections on your screen. Another problem is that the internet goes out, even the business doesn’t have Internet for their own register system sometimes. They say that they are trying to work with Comcast to get more bandwidth but it doesnt seem like anything is really getting done on either side. If you need constant reliable internet connection and something could fail on your end then don’t trust working or study at this location. Find something else.

This is our very first coffee pit stop on our road trip up to Portland — we actually ended up driving to their old location only to find out that they had to very recently moved to a newer place. I was surprised that no one had updated the Unilocal listing so I submitted the change myself after finding out their address — the girl at the cash register didn’t even know their own address because they had literally just opened a couple of days before! I don’t consider myself an espresso snob at all since I always take A LOT of sugar(syrup or flavoring) in my latte, but my husband is very legit when it comes to espresso. He definitely enjoyed his drink and liked that they had a roaster on site. We even kept this place bookmarked in case we ever want to come back and buy their beans!

The people at Rogue Roasters are super friendly. The service is awesome and they serve organic coffee and espresso with organic milk! They also have cozy sofas and big arm chairs in addition to window seats and tables, all with wifi. How does it get any better than that?

Oh no, Rogue Coffee Roaster are trying to follow in the franchise footsteps of Dutch Bros., the other drive-through coffee concession which originated in this charming sleepy hollow. Sadly the wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee and sit-down-and-relax ambiance is gone under a copper clad drive-through booth, far from where the townsfolk and tourists tread. Give it a miss — Dutch Bros. and Human Bean cover the drive-through space rather well so there’s not much incentive to find Rogue Coffee Roaster’s new location if you’re looking for a coffee shop. Paper cups to go now, no china and a sit down. Sad, sad, very very sad. Their branded drive-through at 401NE F St., Grants Pass, OR97526 — not at the address given above.
