This location is fantastic when it comes to food! They use real cooked chicken instead of fake pre cooked garbage and their bread is fantastic! They also make the food quickly so you aren’t left waiting around My only complaint is that they never have anyone up front to seat you so you have to stand and wait till someone wanders out of the back

My family and I chose Bostons for dinner on a weds night. Place was empty and smelt like smoke. Not what I want when we walk into place your going to eat at. There was one server, luckily it was empty. We ordered the spinach dip… not yummy. Very soupy with a lump of melted cheese mixed in. That was sent back. Our pizza was the three cheese. I am a cheese lover… and it wasn’t as good as we hoped. The sauce was flavorless and the crust as well. It was and expensive pizza $ 27 for a medium pizza and one drink. Could’ve ordered papa johns and got two pizzas for that amount. We will not be back. And walking out smelling like smoke sealed the deal.

Service| Friday Jan 30, Group of my classmates came in during the lunch hour and we were sat in a timely manner. I believe we had a server in training bc there were servers teaching her at the comp. Overall she did a great job! We were on a little time crunch and got our food and checks out without being rushed. Atmosphere| Great family environment! There is a split for a bar area for happy hour and get together with friends. Menu| Pepperoni and sausage Pizza and Jalapeño and string onion burger was mouth watering. The French fries were crisp and seasoned well. Recommendation| Come and eat. Loved everything they offered. I would definitely come back soon!

We orderadamperappetizer, most of it really good, Proposal chips are awesome, parmessan wings also very very good. Pickles hmmm pizza dough was missing some saltiness though. Not sure it might be just today or the way it is here, well try again I had pasta for dinner and was very good right size portion. Soberly coming back to explore the menu.

I had not seen a recent review about the cigarette smoke so we decided to try it. They have double doors. As soon as you touch the second set the smell of smoke hits you. We walked in and it was worse. The hostess told us the smoke smell is better if you sit by the window. The bar doors are closed so that is not the reason I think this place is just smokers heaven.

Food looks good, taste great. You might want to bring your own beer. It takes no less than 15 min. To get your drink. If your glass is empty, do not assume that it is any indication to the staff. You will need to wave your hand to get any attention. Disappointing.

My husband and I were in the area for a convention and wanted to dine at local places. This place seemed to be a chain but by day 4 we were tired and cranky and it was raining so we just settled for whatever we could quickly find that we couldn’t find in Austin. Boston’s it was. There was hardly anyone in the dining area but the bar(read: smoker’s lounge) was pretty hoppin’. I forget that you can still smoke in places outside of Austin, and the smoke sort of permeated through the whole restaurant. Our waiter was quick and friendly. I ordered the beef dip sandwich with fries and my husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a Sam Adams seasonal. Both were pretty awesome. I would definitely get the beef dip again. It had onions and mushrooms on it and all of the flavors blended well together. Even the au jus had great flavor. The only thing I’d recommend is having a bit toastier bread. It turns out that we received a 15% discount for checking in on Unilocal, which required a manager’s assistance and delayed our departure to the hotel. But we’ll sit around for a few bucks off. All in all, not a bad place to check out if you’re in the area and want to stop in at a place with good variety.

You need to post more pictures of what it looks like inside and of the patio. And fix your smoky issue ;-) Let me now when that issue is fixed and you will have our business.

My friends and I decided to check out a new place to enjoy the Cowboy game on Sunday… And I wanted pizza. Our visit to Boston’s was a success! The staff was attentive, they met our requests of turning up the volume for the game and made sure our glasses were full. Each request that was made was met with a smile, and we were a needy bunch that day. We sat in the dining section to accommodate our groups size of 8. The food was ok maybe a 3 star, but all the other reasons are why I am giving the outing a 4 star rating.

This place was almost empty during a Friday lunch. The Bone Daddy’s across the street was packed. That was my first warning sign. The waitress was nice, but very slow and not well trained. Food was plain. Booth was dirty, and as another person noted: the place reeked of cigarette smoke. I’ve been to other Boston’s in the area. This place needs to close.

Nope nope nope. This was probably the most unpleasant meal ive had in ages. We walked in around 9ish, thankfully their dining room is opened until 2am and we were starving. The bar area was packed out but the dining room had a small handful of customers. Anyways, no hostess up front or any other staff visible for a little while. we were finally noticed and seated by a poor harried server. Anyways, I always thought that all Bostons were non-smoking(at least in the dining room) but dang the clouds of smoke coming from the bar filled the rest of the restaurant since one of the doors to the bar wouldn’t close completely and their ventilation wasn’t working too well. Usually I can handle the smell but it was so strong it really affected my allergies, unfortunately by the time it started becoming unbearable for me we had already committed to ordering and it was getting too late to go elsewhere Anyways, service was ridiculously slow the entire time we were there since there was that one poor waiter. We never were asked for refills, etc but we later realized that it wasn’t because we had a bad waiter. it was because he was handling hostess duties, the entire dining room AND other tables in the bar. Once the game ended and people started clearing out the poor guy was able to take care of the dining room much more efficiently. I usually don’t comment on bathroom facilities — but holy crap this place was a wreck. the first stall had a toilet seat broken off completely so ladies beware of a special surprise there. the rest of the bathroom had toilet paper and water everywhere. toilet paper and paper towel rolls were just set on the counter and toilet paper dispensers, staff didn’t bother putting them where they should. Hey, at least that area of the restaurant didn’t smell like smoke Food-wise things were on par with other Boston’s restaurants. Our pizza came out hot and fresh and was very enjoyable. They do offer weekday specials on various dishes which was nice. We ended up getting a pizza and drinks for under $ 20 for our whole family. Overall — it was a very long and drawn-out unpleasant experience for us. I felt bad for our waiter being pulled so many ways but the overall experience was horrible. i would recommend either visiting a different Bostons or going somewhere else.

Slow, slow service one Sunday afternoon. Perhaps they had to order out for servers and cooks. Food was OK although one in our party had to send back food to have it warmed up again. Lots of TVs around for the sports fans among us. They were agreeable about changing the channel to what we wanted to watch, once we got someone’s attention. Slow, so slow. Lots of better options are in the area and perhaps there was a reason that the parking lot was so empty.

I do like Bostons pretty well, they have a lot of different things on their menu to pick from & I always would prefer to come here food-wise over some of the generic food chains in the grapevine restaurant strip.(I’m looking at you chili’s) The service is usually really friendly but a bit slow, so usually we opt for to-go any more that we come here for lunch. I just wish lunch choice by my family members was here over chili’s more often.

Love this place! The staff is fantastic and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bar is a big service industry hang out. The later it gets the more crowded it becomes. Despite the crowd, the cocktail servers and bar tenders still manage to take great care of every guest. P. S. Their gluten-free pizza is aahmazzing.

The food and service was actually pretty good. I joined some colleagues here for a lunch lately and we all had… hamburgers. They were surprisingly good, though. One in our group decided that he had a coupon he would use, which is always a good decision when you meet people for lunch. I mean, Unilocal deals and check-in deals are great, but who uses a coupon anymore? Anyway, when the server returned the checks, she informed the coupon user that it was only valid for checks greater than $ 25, and she couldn’t use it for him since she had split the checks for our table. Our friend made her take it back and try again, it which time they did process it. I was kind of embarassed for us, as I thought we were being excessively cheap. Did he offer to split the discount with the rest of us? No. Anyway, none of this is meant to indict the restaurant, which provides a pretty good product. Now if they can just get that highway construction out of the way…

After having eaten at a few different Boston’s Pizza locations, I am further convinced that, when dealing with big chain restaurants, stick with what they’re famous for. Sure, they serve fish tacos(!) here, but all too often, I’m disappointed if I go with something exotic. On this visit(my first to this actual location), I stuck with my mantra and got a double meat and peppers pie, featuring sausage and meatballs as the meats and green and red bell peppers along with red onions for the veggies. It was very good, with a nice balance of topping with the gooey cheese, zesty sauce and crunchy crust. As for those fish tacos, I didn’t try them, but I think I saw their«owner» applying ketchup to them…
