They did a good job with both the beer selection and the food. We only ordered apps but they were good. The wings were really good that we ordered seconds. Also had the pretzel which was tasty and fresh, and the blue cheese chips were very good. Again, big beer selection and beers were served cold. Our waiter was ok could have been a bit more responsive and personable. Overall really good compared to other choices in the area. I would definitely go back!

Well the food was good enough, and I liked the fact they had a but on/whisky menu on the wall, as well automatically set down a drink menu for my sister in law to look at. Drink service was quick compared with other places where the bar drinks take forever. The server was attentive & knowledgeable but seemed kind of short with us. Maybe we came at the end of his shift but thru out the whole meal he would correct us like«that’s call an x» or «why would that come with x in it?» As well seemed annoyed that I ended up just ordering water vs a reg drink like the rest of the party cause when we sat down I had to get my 1 year set up with a snack & didn’t get a chance to look at the drink menu before he came by. But he did his job in Timely fashion, so I’m sure the next time my SIL&FIL want to come we will. My food was ok, my husband liked the chicken & waffles from his first visit, he tried the mushroom pizza but he’s more a red sauce kind of guy. We all like the zucchini appetizer. The kids meals were about right, my son loves tots so props for having them & having them as a plain option.

Best happy hour specials & prices in the area. Best beer selection in the area as well. Service is hit or miss… The appetizers are great. Not the best quality of pizza. But the salmon is DELICIOUS. Overall a great happy hour spot. Glad it came to Grapevine, it filled a huge hole in the Grapevine restaurant/happy hour market. I have been here over 10 times and will go back again.

This place has an amazing selection of food and drinks and everything is so fresh and tasty! There is a huge fireplace in the back of the restaurant which gives it a really cozy feel. The booths are like big couches which are really comfortable and look really modern. I ordered the lamb burger which was absolutely delicious! Melt in your mouth good… Our server sucked but other than that I really enjoyed the experience.

This restaurant shows great potential and upon a subsequent visit, I may rate it higher. The bartender was five-star, providing me with a sample beer that he thought I would enjoy more than the one I ordered. While, I stuck w/my original«known», the gesture was impressive. The menu looked delicious with many appetizing choices. We tried the deviled eggs – good but not exceptional, although you did get a lot for your $$ @ 3 full eggs for $ 5. My shrimp and chips were disppointing, as the shrimp was coated in a tempura batter, not a southern batter. My friend’s bison burger, again, was good but not exceptional. Having said that, the flatbread pizza that was delivered to a table near ours looked so good, I’m anxious to try it. The ribs, mahi, and fried chicken sandwich sounded so good, it’s worth another visit. The restaurant has a strange design that I’m not certain works well for it. The tables are very large, comunal-type. However, they weren’t seating people together, as they would in Europe, so tables that sat 6 – 8 people had 2 people at them while others waited for a table. We told the hostess we were pleased to have others sit with us, especially if they looked like fun people, but no one sat with us at our very large, awkward table.

Went to Brick House for a celebration dinner after work. I was excited because when I came for lunch once, it was super delicious… This time, not so much. First, it took ten years to get a drink… get our order taken… clean off appetizer plates(which we just ended up piling up at the end of the table after a while)… order our meals. I got the bison burger — it had a logo next to it, so I assumed it was a specialty. I know game meats can be very lean, but it was sooo dry and crumbly. I even asked for it to be cooked medium… did not help my cause. In the past, I got the kobe flatbread — that is wicked good! I should have gotten it this time too. Some of the brunch items looks pretty yummy — I’ll head back to try those and follow up with an update.

My wife and I waited twelve minutes for service after being seated(the waitress walk by us four times), then waited ten minutes for drinks, and finally twenty for food. To top it off, the waitress offered us refills ten minutes after our beers were visibly empty. On the flip side, the food here is good. But worth the wait? Maybe not. The manager came by to drop off some waters we didn’t order… He didn’t ask how our experience was going, he instead seemed more interested in the Starbucks he was walking around drinking than customer satisfaction(we were not the only annoyed customers). This is not the first time our experience here has been this way. Poor service and long wait times seem to be normal here. My advice: just walk to Chilis… it will save you time, money, and frustration.

Brick House is one of my favorite places to go for happy hour, dinner, and brunch. Happy hour(3pm-7pm) has $ 3 craft drafts and well cocktails, $ 4 import drafts, $ 5 snacks(higher priced apps vary to $ 7 for hh) $ 6 seasonal cocktails and house wines, $ 7 pizzas. I have tried many of the food items. The seasonal Buffalo pizza is GREAT! Pork chops are to die for… seriously. Turkey Sandwich is the best sandwich, not too messy and it comes with two deviled eggs. The meatballs are good, great for sharing. I’ve had the drunken pork and the Greek keftedes. Brunch is great as well. Love the different drinks here. Manhattans are actually made right. Blackberry Collins is my favorite. Great beer selection, tap and bottled. Only issue and why it received a 4 star is that drinks take at least 20 minutes to get them. Even worse with a busy dinner rush. They are more time consuming drinks but beers take just as long. Great atmosphere, they even have game day recliners with a wall of TVs… and beer towers! And a fireplace(I get cold easy). Age range is pretty much everyone, kids welcomed to an older crowd to the young football fanatic college guys. It’s a bit loud with the music and chatter but nothing unbearable. Very great place for everyone to gather and enjoy.

Came here last night after deciding NOT to wait 2 hours for a table at Mi Dia. Started with the blood orange whiskey sour. It was light and not overly sour, made very well. They did not make my old-fashioned correctly but I’m sure not many people order them. My husband ordered canned beer which came in tiny brown paper bags. Funny. Looks like they have beer towers, so yes! Fire pit inside was awesome but I imagine if you sat real close to it, you’d burn up. The tv situation is very good. Bathrooms are clean. The pretzel starter was legit. They were hot fresh and soft inside but chewy outside like a pretzel should be. The mustard and sriracha ranch were the best dipping sauces. The queso was meh. Deviled eggs are a house speciality but we weren’t loving them. To me, they were more rubbery than usual and had a refrigerator taste. I’m sure they make the white in advance so I can see why but I didn’t enjoy that. My husband had the lamb burger which was not gamey as lamb can tend to be. It was not an easy burger to manipulate but it was a good burger. Fries are fries nothing special. My friend had the Thai chicken salad which I sampled. Very good! I loved the peanut dressing, thinly sliced chicken, and the crisp veggies. I had the drunken pork meatballs for dinner. It said perfect for sharing which is true, would make a good shareable. Also makes a good dinner though! These are where it’s at. The meatball has a PERfect consistency. The sweet tangy BBQ sauce was good and the cornbread that came with it was out of this world. It was browned on the outside but amazingly buttery and tender. I wanna try the other meatballs now. I think our meal was like 60 bucks which isn’t bad for two or three beers, a cocktail, a starter, and two entrees. Our waitress was good and prompt. I’ll go back!

It was okay. Nothing to get overly excited about. I thought it was a sports bar, but it is a nice restaurant with televisions. The portions were not what I am used to. I ordered the mahi. It was good, I just wished it was more of it. The staff was friendly and that is always good. The décor is fabulous. The booths were couches. Nice! I don’t live in the area, so I can’t see myself making a special trip to come back, like I said, it was okay.

Cozy little place, tucked inside a plaza, that offers quite a bit of comfort food. Don’t expect a high-quality meal, but if you’re looking to just wind down without much distraction, Brick House would be the one. I enjoyed sitting toward the back near the fireplace, away from the hustle and bustle up front. I honestly cannot speak much for their food because all I had was a piece of fried duck leg and a filet mignon salad, which definitely did not taste like a filet mignon! To my earlier point, the greasy/savory starters will satisfy your stress-food-cravings. After a long day at the office, Brick House is not a bad alternative.

Went here for a quick business lunch with my team. Loved the décor, very rustic and comfortable. You’re greeted right away by the outdoor seating and the fire pits. I ordered the Kobe burger, medium, for lunch and to drink I asked for the beer special — which was a blend of the Not Your Father’s Root Beer and Skyy Vodka/Vanilla. The waitress brought out our drinks fairly quickly, and the food was not that long of a wait, either, considering it was the lunch rush. A very strong looking person from the staff checked in on us frequently, and our waitress was very nice. The burger was cooked as I asked — even a little more on the rare side, which was fine by me, and it was delicious. I had the tater tots as a side, and they were also perfectly cooked. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu. Very good place for a great price!

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me four times, and you get a single star rating. Tonight was my fourth and final visit to Brick House in Grapevine. We even left $ 30 worth of coupons on the table because we will NOT be going back. This evening started off with my wife and I walking in and stopping at the hostess stand, waiting, and then being asked«Will you be sitting at the bar?» as if we’d need to wait on a hostess for that. The hostess then took us to our table, and after seating us, asks«Do either of you have a smartphone? What time is it?» Cue my dumbfounded look as to why she cares what time it is, and furthermore, why she’s asking a patron… only to realize it’s so that she can inform us about the happy hour specials… which end in five minutes. Once she was done informing us, and happy hour was over, she left us to our server. This was followed by a fifteen minute wait for anyone to check on us at our table, until finally someone comes by. We order a water and a beer, no, wait, that beer is sold out, but we have this completely unrelated beer that you can order instead. About ten minutes later a can in a paper bag is placed on the table, and hey, look, there’s a beer in the bag. I’m about halfway through my 16oz beer before we are asked if we’re ready to order; we put in an appetizer order, only to be told one of the ingredients is out of stock, and will we accept it missing that ingredient? We agree, and I order– only to be told that my order is out of stock also– but instead of pork chops, why don’t you try pork meatballs instead! I order the chicken and waffles– my wife orders the Monday night special– a kobe beef chili dog. The appetizer never shows up, but two giant Belgian waffles topped with four chicken tenders does– the waffles were Titanic, the chicken its passengers, and likewise dwarfed. My wife comments«I could have gotten this chili dog at Sonic.» Other than the bun being griddled, the hot dog was completely unremarkable, and the tater tots she’d ordered seasoned came with no seasoning. After the food’s dropped off, but before we can get our wits together, we’re asked«can I get you anything?» We reply no, but realize immediately after that we need ketchup. Cue fifteen minute wait to see our waitress again, which was finally remedied by flagging down some other waitress and asking her for ketchup, which finally resulted in our waitress deciding to come back and visit. The manager stopped by randomly to ask how everything was, we told him, and his response–«Well, the waffles are supposed to come with five ounces of chicken…» wasn’t exactly satisfactory. Neither was«Well I can get you some more chicken…» He then wound up trying to offer free dessert, which we didn’t want, and then gave us $ 30 in coupons for a free meal, which we left on the table. The waitress also gave us the cold shoulder, despite the evening being full of her inattentiveness and error, and didn’t say two words as she picked up and then dropped off the check. This was the final straw after a number of bad experiences. I will never patronize Brick House again, and I will be spending the next few years talking people out of eating there. I aim to have such a significant impact on their revenue as to run them out of business. Would anyone else be interested in contributing to buy billboards near their establishments?

I’ve been here a few times and the inconsistency in quality of drinks, bar/wait staff(particularly the blonde female bartender named Holly) and some of the food is discouraging me from any return visits. Our most recent visit on 11÷30÷15 was for our anniversary. Big mistake thanks to the aforementioned bartender. Fortunately, the other bartender made up for her lack of common sense. We did like the duck wings — the flavor of the sauce was amazing! A note of caution: do not sit in front of the taps at the bar if you have an inconsiderate bartender(Holly) behind the bar serving from said taps, as you will be splashed with beer and she will not even blink an eye. The bearded gentleman behind the bar had no problem preventing me from being splashed. Thumbs up to him and ONLY him! Holly also dropped my fruit garnish on the silver plating under the same taps and placed it on top of my glass. I quickly removed the fruit though. Seriously, what is wrong with her? Waitstaff in general needs training. This place is overpriced for what you get. I had high hopes and anxiously waited for this place to open only to be disappointed. I would have addressed my issues with management at that time, but in TRYING to have a nice relaxing time on such a special evening, I decided against it. One more thing… Holly really caters to the male customers at the bar. Management should really read the reviews.

This review for 4 stars is based on the drinks and environment, and ability to watch sports at every table. Great comfortable booths that point at, at least 3TV’s. Big fireplaces and a great beer and wine menu are a real pleaser. A+ wine pours! I had the deviled eggs and they had WAY too much salt, blah! The Chicken Sandwich was a… chicken sandwich. Not a lot a flavor but that’s what you get for eating light maybe. I got tater tot’s instead of french fries. They’re the same tater tots from any sonic. Actually I probably like Sonic tater tots better, these could go a little bit more up market for the cost. This is a sports bar and a good one! It’s all in-line.

We have been here 3 times now. There drink menu is great and you can’t beat the beer selection. Everything we have eaten here has been really good. The only draw back here is the service. The first time we went the girl we had was new and not knowledgable about the menu, the 2nd time service was good but the last time it was terrible. He actual told us I have a large party’s coming so if you think you’ll need anything better let me get it now cause when they come I’ll be too busy to get you anything??? Seriously if you can’t handle them and your other tables what in the heck is management doing giving you a large party??? Maybe we will try sitting at the bat next time.

I was on my way to Grapevine for Mexican food and saw this place from the highway and decided to try it. They offer a large selection of main stream beers as well as local and national craft beers. I went with the Victory HopDevil IPA. While I was ordering my beer, the woman near me at the bar got the burger she ordered and told the server it was over cooked. His response to resolve this was, «I’m going to beat someone up in the kitchen.» Not exactly the response I would want! There was no offer to make another one. In addition to the usual burgers, they had a prosciutto wrapped meatloaf. How can you not order that. I am glad I did. It was covered in gravy and was outstanding! Brittany, my server was friendly and attentive. But can’t give it five stars due to the burger remark

Came in last night with some girlfriends for HH. To my surprise HH ends at 6… I’m used to most places HH lasting til 7. No worries! We ordered a few things right be it ended! Now my only complaint… We had two waitresses. One might think that’s great, but it was super confusing! And add four women we all stayed confused! Anywho! We ordered the duck wraps, smoked salmon and cheese plate all at the wonderful HH $ 7 price! The duck wraps were really great! An interesting play on the lettuce wraps you can find a PF Changs. The smoked salmon was by far the table favorite! The yogurt sauce was delicious! The sad cheese plate… Barely any cheese… And one of my Gfs ate most of it bf I could try any! Boo woo!

I think this place has a good location and a nice atmosphere. With that I would definitely say that this place is just«okay» I have come here twice now and I have enjoyed the place and the drinks, but the food just lacks originality and flavor. I usually go with my in-laws and they seem to really like the food and I will admit for this area it is fun to have a new restaurant. I have had the steak salad and the meatloaf, I would definitely not recommend the meatloaf. My husband has had the pork chops and a grilled onion burger, the grilled onions on his burger were so pathetic that he kept making jokes about it the whole night, but his pork chops are probably the best thing on the menu.

Went here on a Friday night with my hubby. It was super busy at the bar. Waited about 35 minutes for a table. It was happy hour so got a few drinks pretty quickly. They had a great drink selection. They had quite a few beers on draft even a few different ones like Black and Tans. Bartenders were very friendly. Sat down at our table and the menu had a lot of different choices which was amazing! The food was great and the waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was fun and modern. It was like a modern English pub. Loved the décor and set up. Had outdoor seating but it was so humid we chose to stay inside. We will definitely go back :-)

Man, this is a toss up between a two and a three for me. I was really excited about Brick opening in Grapevine. Lots of beer choices and the promise of an interesting menu had me counting down the days to get in the door. Unfortunately, the vibe of this place is something totally different than I expected. It was pretty much a sausage fest — just a ton of dudes. The all female bar staff were gorgeous and wearing just enough clothes to not technically count as a breastaurant. The music was really, really loud. It was incongruous with the high priced menu. If I’m remembering correctly, the cheapest appetizer was $ 7, and that one appetizer was the only item on the menu at that price point. It went up exponentially from there once you started looking at entrees. I ordered the cheapest appetizer, a really delicious dish called a Moroccan stacked dip. It was unexpected, fresh, and very yummy. Looking at their menu it’s plain to see that they are trying to elevate bar food, which I can appreciate. But the interesting, pricy food didn’t mesh with the Zeppelin being blasted while middle aged douche bags eyeball waitresses in short shorts. The beer was surprisingly priced very well, with options in sizes and lots of different good beer choices. Based on the exorbitant menu pricing, I was expecting the beer to be similarly outrageous but it was totally reasonable and in some cases cheaper than other nearby beer joints. Over all, I couldn’t get past the crazy loud, poorly chosen music. I appreciated the friendly bar staff but it was easy to tell that I was not their target audience. The high prices mixed with the overwhelming dudeness of the environment killed it for me.

Went here for lunch with a co-worker and service was excellent. Place wasn’t overly busy and we were seated fast. The menu is a good size, not too many things yet enough for almost everyone to find something they will like. They have several different duck items on their menu which I found to be unusual, yet intriguing as I haven’t had much experience with duck. I decided to get the duck wings appetizer and this was an excellent choice. I’d recommend you try these of you like wings. They are of course are bigger than standard chicken wings. They cost them in a sweet sauce and have a special ranch dipping sauce. You get 6 wings but they are real good. For my meal I got their Friday special which is was shrimp and chips. Got about 9 good sized beer battered fried shrimp and French fries. Shrimp were very good the fries were nothing special. Next time I’d get the tots. And there will be a next time. Looks like they have a decent beer selection on tap and a full bar. But was there during lunch so didn’t get to test that theory. Out door porch area was excellent they have a neat fire pit going and some real cool benches.
