Grapevine Public Library

This is one of my favorite places to study because of their more extensive hours and public study rooms. Staff is very welcoming and friendly and the facility overall is big itself, although it is only a one story. Printing is accessible through your laptop or phone simply by sending the document to the grapevine library printing website, which is convenient if you just need to print something and go because you can simply send it from home!

Friendly! There was plenty of space for the computers, perfect shaded parking, and they have a drive-​through!

A really good library. Great children’s programs and play area. Staff always friendly. Not as wide a selection as the Dallas library of course. Nice study areas. Lots of programs. Lots of computers.

Great place to study and do homework. They have some private study rooms and large tables for you to spread your things out. Always plenty of computers to use, fax, copiers, and color copies. Good children’s area and DVD collection.

Really wonderful library! They have puppets and such in the children’s area that the kids can mess around with. As well as an old green bathtub that my daughter loves to climb into to read her books.
They have a very homey library, and a sectioned off teens area, which I’m sure the teens really like having their own area.
We really like their summer reading program and they have some great activities come thru there!

Okay, you know what to expect out of a library so let me just highlight some of the extra awesome things that Grapevine Public Library has.
They have a drive through. Get online, request what books you want, and they’ll shoot you an e-​mail saying they are ready for you. Just drive up and pick them up, and when you’re done you can drive up and drop them off. Awesome!
Are you one of those fools spending money on Audible? Why? You can download audio books from the library for free and play them on your iPod, computer, or whatever electronic device you fancy.
Lastly, they have self checkout here. So if you are antisocial and don’t like interacting with librarians, or you just don’t want to wait in line, you don’t have to!
Also, at one point in time, they had the most amazing collection of Harry Potter paraphernalia on display here. It was a thing of beauty to behold.
Just be warned, the front of the library is inexplicably faced away from the street it is on. You will be driving up to the back of the library and be confused about how to go in. Drive around to the other side.

Great place to study for homework. The library staff is very helpful with research and locating that hard to find book. Easy check out for items. My only qualm is that they do not have a large selection of books on CD or MP3. They do have very current books on NY times best seller list. Very large magazine selection as well. One of my favorite libraries.
