The king buffet I think had a bad rap at one point. I almost didn’t go in because of what I read. But the food is good, they keep the buffet fresh and clean. They are very reasonably priced and have a very large variety of foods. I’ll be back.

The service is good, the food alright. I do like they have a Mongolian grill and it is included in the price of the buffet.

I, v been going to this Restaurant for quite a while, on Friday and Saturday nights, They charge a Extra $ 2.95 per buffet meal, because they serve Snow Crab. I went this past Saturday night, and the snow crab was the dry-est, Freezer burned, worst crab I, ve ever attempted to eat. I told the manager about it, and they did nothing. they said that, that was how it came from the supplier. Just goes to show & prove that this Restaurant, would serve dog crap if they could get away with it. There, s no quality control, The food is cold, Bland, weeks old garbage, that isn, t fit to eat. Texas Health Dept. needs to be called daily, to inspect this disgusting place. $ 14.95 for a Rotten Meal. This Place needs new workers/cooks and new management. Will never go there again. I went on a Saturday, and it was packed. However, the buffet lines were still manageable. The buffet is just OK. I’m in town for work, and have definitely experienced better Chinese buffets elsewhere. The two soups(egg drop and hot/sour) were terrible! Both tasted like straight up flavored syrup. I was very disappointed with the cream cheese wontons… how can anyone mess those up?! They had an odd«wet dog» smell/taste to them. No better way to describe it. I think the frying oil must have been old or something. I managed to eat one, but the second one made me want to gag. Sushi was just OK also… not horrible, but definitely had a plastic texture to it — not fresh. Desserts were bad. The«cheesecake» was a joke — the entire bottom half of it is supposed to resemble graham cracker, not regular cake! And the top half had the fainted taste of cream cheese, but totally missed the mark. The only thing that was consistent with normal-tasting dessert was the soft serve ice cream. The lo mein noodles and green beans were decent(had to add soy sauce for flavor), but I guess it’s pretty hard to mess those up. For that and for the nice waitstaff, I give it an extra star. Overall impression: Just meh. If you are absolutely craving a Chinese buffet, this will do the job, but I for one won’t be returning.

First time visitors. Great Mongolian grill. The rest of the food though was cold. The spring roll was mush and vegetables were tasteless.

I went on Saturday night for dinner. The service was 3⁄5. The food was 2⁄5. Panda Express is better than this. The environment was 2⁄5. There were so many torn up chairs and booths patched with tape. The selection is pathetic. It’s half desserts probably to save money. I’ve yet to have a good experience at any AYCE Chinese buffet in the DFW area. I’m from Houston where the food is top-notch, so for $ 12.99, I actually expect decent food, but I didn’t get that from King Buffet. Don’t waste your time here or any AYCE Chinese buffet in the DFW area.

Almost all the chicken was undercooked. Even the Mongolian grill cooks didn’t cook the food all the way. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Went for lunch at noon on a Wednesday. Co worker told me to check it out… because i was complaining about bad Chinese buffets everywhere. So this one is real good!!! I had food from the Mongolian grill station… Then different things from the buffet… i did like everything i had. I was very happy with this place and will be back for sure.

Decent Chinese food. In addition to regular food items, there is a hibachi grill. The chef cooks the ingredients you select. Sushi is good. Nothing there I haven’t seen in other restaurants I’ve been to. But I have to say, one Chinese food item I only found here was some small pork meat balls, and each was steamed/grilled with a tiny shrimp on top. very simple item, but it was quite tasty. The fish(Swai) was also very good — nicely steamed and seasoned. I had more than a couple of servings. Fresh and delicious. Highly recommended if you like fish.

A king’s buffet fit for a pauper. I would rather spend my money at Royal China, PF Chang, or even Pei Wei, knowing I was going to get some QUALITY Chinese food. KB is clean, the staff is friendly with the blank smiles on their face. I was going to give kb a two, but after truly thinking about the staff, the cleanliness, and weighing the fact that they have both, a Mongolian grill and sushi — although sub-par, I thought a three was appropriate.

First off my experience would be much better if the people next to me didn’t allow their five and six-year-old to run wild through the restaurant. Lol Every dish they prepare here is delicious from the sushi and crab to the crawfish all delicious you must come if you like to pig out and chill. The service is great theget your drink when you’re ready for one. Clear your table when ya get your next plate. awesome waitstaff

Me, go back to a Chinese buffet? Well, yes I did and I have more than once. Recently we were in the mood for Chinese, or not, and decided that this would be a good stop for a reasonably good meal with lots of options at a good price and also open for business in mid-afternoon. The array of choices is mind-boggling. Soups, salads, seafood(cooked and raw), sushi, fresh fruit, chinese dishes too many to comprehend, rice, noodles, dumplings, appetizers of all sorts, ribs, and even pizza. Desserts galore, ice cream, want more? It is possible to satisfy every dietary requirement here because of the many options so you can eat as healthily as you desire. Even in the middle of the afternoon(3-ish), they were replacing dishes with freshly prepared versions. Prices change around this time from lunch to dinner prices, so several new options were labelled for dinner only since presumably they are more expensive to prepare and dinner costs more. Gluttons who are able to waddle to the many buffet tables will be thrilled with the abundance of food here, but it is quite possible to eat sensibly and at a reasonable cost.
