I have been out with James on a day when we didn’t do so well and on days when the fishing was red hot! it is always a good time. James is full of knowledge of the river. James is also a true patriot and offerers a veterans discount. Children and people with disabilities are welcomed on Fishing’ James’s boat.

I’m not much of a fisherman but it doesn’t matter when I was on Fishin’ James’ boat. He took care of everything from setting up the lines, bait, and even set the hook for me. He was a full service guide who got us on fish. He knew right where to go and we limited out before 10 AM.
Awesome service and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fish. He even cleans them like a surgeon!
I highly recommend him to anyone who’s either new to fishing or wants to learn more.
He’s definitely the King of the River!

My son and I went with Fishin James at Folsom, we had a blast, caught our limits all nice fish. It was my sons first experience and we are HOOKED. He treated my son and I great. He has a great comfortable boat, great gear and was a pleasure to fish with. We have already booked trips for kings in Oct. & Nov.

Took my Aunt and Uncle on a Kokanee fishing trip on Lake Berryessa. Even though they are both over 75 years old they had a fantastic time as Fishin James was very patient and thoughtful throughout the entire day. We all had a blast and caught seven Kokanee Salmon on top of it. Wonderful fish fry that evening!

We caught our limits of Kokanee Salmon and a holdover Rainbow as an extra bonus which made it even more exciting. With 17 years of experience, Rick knows what he is doing. Went out for kokanee with James on Lake Berryessa and caught limits for the day! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable fisherman who will put you on the fish, James is your guy. With an immaculate, stable, comfortable 22′ boat, water skiers and wake boarders will be a nonissue! I definitely recommend James for any of his fishing charters.
