The place is conveniently located and the food is USUALLY alright, IF you dine in. If you take out — BEWARE!!! Time after time(stupid me) they WILL sell you old, expired food. They keep doing it. If you go to that place then NEVEREVER take food out.

Used to order out sometime untill once I found a cockroach in my lagman soup. Called them about it to at least refund my money for this disgusting experience but they never bothered to even call me back. Poor management and obviously pest control!

I have ordered pick up from here multiple times. I am familiar with this cuisine because of my boyfriend who is from Central Asia. Their manti and samsa are worth driving an hour for. What more can I possibly say? The ambiance does look like they decided to throw in a few tables at an office space and call it a restaurant. So if you are looking for fancy ambiance, this is not it..

Defiantly missed this place. No doubt one of my favorite Uzbek restaurants. Still has the friendly service it always had along with the same dedicated crew that have been working there for as long as I can remember. This time I got one of my favorite soups; lagman along with some mante and shishkabobs. The lagman was so good that I ended up getting another one. The mante comes on a plate with 5 pieces for $ 7 which is definitely worth it. They aren’t that big but are really good with the sour cream they provide you with. The shishkabobs are definitely a must for every time you visit this place. They always come freshly cooked and you can hear the juice come out the second you bite in. I also suggest getting their bread«Lepeshka» to eat with their dishes as that also comes freshly cooked from their kitchen. It comes to you warm and is by far one of the best breads I got my taste buds to try :)

Best Uzbek restaurant in Brooklyn. My family has been coming to this restaurant for over ten years(the original location was across the street), and we are still never disappointed. Often, my husband and I will drive to have dinner at Chorsu Samarkanda from Staten Island simply because their food cannot be beat. Some favorites and must haves: Salads: Greek salad and Achichuk salad Soup: Lagman(fresh made noodle soup with lamb and vegetables) Appetizers: Manti, Chebureks, Samsa Mains: Lamb kebob, chicken kebob, liver kebob, lamb ribs kebob This place has the best manti, which are round dumplings stuffed with ground lamb and onions. We like to top them with some cold sour cream for the perfect bite. This place is also BYOB!

Very nice restaurant! I don’t think the staff can speak fluent English but the food is definitely authentic. I had the beef kabobs which was cooked to perfection(medium rare and very flavorful), greek salad(lots of cheese! delicious), and some type of beef stew(flavorful but a little too salty for me). I will definitely come again!

CHORSUSAMARKANDA is a very nice venue, where Uzbeks, Russians, and many other peoples come to dine and eat the national foods of Uzbekistan. One of the most special dishes are the kabobs, with lamb liver, lamb ribs, chicken hearts, as well as other selections, such as fish. They are cooked in ways that could never be matched by other venues, such as Turkish restaurants. We all know the kabob from from the Turkish, as they seem to have been one of the first to bring their cuisine to the United States. But when one eats a kabob prepared in the Uzbek manner, one realized a truth, that the Ottoman’s of Turkey, can only prepare the kabob, second to the number one, Uzbekistan. You will never desire another preparation of kabob after you try the Uzbek kabobs at CHORSUSAMARKANDA . Other dishes I recommend are the Lagman noodles, and the salads. There is plenty more that I have not had that are just as appealing and good tasting.
