John helped my fiancé and I when we were in the process of buying our first home. He was professional, on time, and polite. I did notice that he was very alarmist when speaking with my fiancé, informing her that our roof would be a tear-off that needed to be done immediately. When I got to the home, however I had him walk me through his findings and he had changed his tune to say that the roof could get some more years out of it and that it was not an emergency.
He seems like a nice enough guy, who takes detailed photos of his inspection and makes the process easy. I didn’t like how he got my fiancé all riled up about a single (literally 1) buckled shingle on a 10year old roof.
TL;DR: professional and polite, oversells problems a little.
