Cafe 1711

The service was so inattentive we had to leave without receiving any food. We waited for nearly an hour, then found out that our order hadn’t even been submitted to the kitchen. That’s when we left. The manager (owner?) did apologize but it was too little, too late.
It wasn’t that the restaurant was busy. There were only 2 other tables occupied. The small number of customers there on a Friday night should have been a warning sign to stay away.
The place also seemed rather dirty, with grime on the tables (hidden by the tablecloth) and large water stains on the ceiling.
Not going back.

The food is scrumptious. Everything was freshly prepared. The accommodations of this building are huge. When this place catches on it will be a perfect place for any special events.
The bar is fully stocked. The owner is a really nice young man.
The steak and burgers, even the turkey burger make you want to come back for more.
I will travel the distance for hand cut onion rings and stellar service!
What’s up with not being open on Monday? Needs to be a MNF Headquarters.

This is a lovely family owned business. It’s nice to go to a non chain restaurant in the area. The place is huge with a pool room, full bar and event center. The Piña colada wings and tilapia, and bread pudding are amazing and the manager on staff is so friendly, definitely recommend!

After taking wife to movies. Grab a bite to eat and was very please with service and food. We will be regular at this spot!

We went in Friday night. Had great burgers. Staff was very good and drinks were awesome. Give them a try. Got seated right away

We tried Café 1711 for lunch, as it recently opened in our neighborhood. The atmosphere was nice — white tablecloths, silverware wrapped in black cloth napkins. We were seated quickly and brought our drinks while we looked at the menu. We had their flavored chips with ranch dressing as an appetizer. They were thinly cut and crunchy, with good flavor. My husband chose the chicken club sandwich with fries, which he said was excellent, the chicken well cooked and juicy, and the fries crispy, as ordered. I had the lunch special, half a grilled chicken wrap with mushroom soup for $ 6.95. Both were delicious. The wrap had attractive grill marks on the outside. The soup was especially creamy and came with a lid to keep it warm. The staff was attentive and friendly. We plan to return to try their weekend brunch, and for a dinner. Y’all come and give them a try!

Not too good. Went on a weekend night with some friends. Atmosphere was okay.
We ordered two orders ogf wings. Wings were oily… there was a puddle of oil on the plates. Onion rings bad too. No flavor at all. Taste like they came out of a bag. I got a total of 7 rings… all the size of a half-​dollar.
Now I will say the staff was friendly… and the beer was cold, but I won’t be going back.
