Southern Sister Embroidery & Gifts

We recently moved to the area and I have been into this shop once. I was so beyond disappointed by the employees. The two girls who were working were both sitting with their backs to the door with their phones in their hands gossiping about people at full volume. They would look right at customers when they came in and look right back at each other and never pause their personal conversation to greet people. It almost felt like their intention was to make sure customers knew that they didn’t care that they were in the store. Not impressed at all– which is too bad because it’s a cute little place. Small businesses in little towns thrive on personal relationships and experiences, it would be a shame if this business didn’t make it (as so many in this area have not) because their employees make people feel unwelcome.

I stopped in to kill time before a haircut. I was not that impressed with prices or employees. They have everything any other gift shop or embroidery place has. Probably will not be a destination location for me.
