Guava & Java

This cute little café offers travelers hot paninis, freshly made sandwiches, tasty bakery items (croissants, muffins), cold blended coffee drinks, and hot beverages (coffee, lattes, cappuccinos). Which is perfect because you’re not going to receive any of these items on your United flight!
They have a fancy espresso machine and make all the drinks fresh when you order — no pre-​made mixes here! The barista made me a cubanito that was deliciously rich and satisfying. I had difficulty resisting the guava pastry (pastelito de guayaba) and freshly made croissants, but I pulled myself away, remembering that I had already picked up a sweet treat at breakfast for the flight. Had I known that Guava & Java would have such a selection of baked treats, I would not have had to smuggle in some treats of my own (I kid, I kid… transporting cookies in your purse is perfectly legal, just slightly frowned upon).
