I told the woman to cut 6in off she cut about 2in. She didn’t even wet my hair so it wasn’t even. She charged $ 40 and I almost said something rude but held my breath. What a waste of time and money.

I really didnt want to give them 1 star but they so deserve it.
I had a birthday party to go to and I wasn’t feeling well so I decided to get my hair blown out. By the time I got out of work every salon was just about to close and refused to give me an appointment but then a co worker mentioned the lemon tree in Great Neck (I’m definitely ignoring her for a good week). I called them and they were able to take me in.
I walk in and its senior citizen central, I found that a bit weird but hey, old people gotta look hot too. This older woman washed my hair and she used a lot of conditioner which she didnt wash out, she claimed my hair needed it. 5 minutes later I sit in the chair and this woman named Mona starts working on my hair…
I clearly told Mona to blow out my hair with some volume, pin straight hair doesn’t look good on me however, she insisted on parting my hair at an angle, I kept telling her I prefer the part in the middle but she kept going on and on that I need to trust her. Ok. So I let her part it to the side. She added a ton of gel and mouse in my wet hair which I found really strange, my usual hair girl has never done this. She starts blow drying and my hair is SMOKING really bad! So she starts complaining how I didnt wash the conditioner out of my hair!!! I started laughing, is this woman crazy? I explained to her how the woman who washed my hair left it in but she kept ignoring me. She burnt my scalp so bad, its been 2 days and its still killing me. She clearly had no clue what she was doing because my hair was a frizzy mess. She then tried to use a curling iron on me and the curls came out so tight and uneven. I was realllllly pissed. It came out to the $ 30.00, I paid and walked out.
Stay away from this place! If they can’t even blow dry hair I dont want to see what the haircuts look like.

Haircuts are okay, however, the coupon is not fair. You can use a $ 2.00 coupon for a mans haircut but cannot use it for a ladies (man style) cut. To use the coupon for a women’s cut you have to wash and blow hair, neither of which I needed and they would not honor the coupon. I once tried the shampoo and didn’t like the scent of it at all and they still wouldn’t honor coupon because I didn’t blow dry. I understand they are individually owned, this one has very poor customer service, obviously they do not think of the client, I am not returning.

great blow-​outs. $ 15 — which is amazing. the people are really nice and friendly… they use this lovely vanilla almond shampoo. they are fast too!
