Cactus Canyon

Love this place, I normally go for there Tuesday night Karaōke. The $ 3 dollar you call its really hit the spot. I never win the contest but just watching people sing is entertaining enough. A big thanks to management for always making me feel welcome.

This establishment is a joke. They discriminate and allow others to wear things but I was not allowed in for wearing the same thing. If I have time I will pursue legal action. Private establishment is one thing but the law is another. The manager or whoever decided to run their mouth was disrespectful when all I did very politely was bring a great point to his attention, but he didn’t have it. I will tell everyone about this bad business. I’m a business owner myself and what they did was not okay. I hope they get set straight. Do not go here unless you wish to have some risk of discrimination.

The only real reason I like that place is the bartender Lindsay, she is so great, friendly and takes very good care of us!

Went to Cactus Canyon last night and it was the worst. Ususally we go early and enjoy an open floor and great CW music. Last night the floor was open but the music sucked. It was more like a funeral than a dance bar. My girlfriend and I enjoy CW dancing and have taken lessons with pros so that we can enjoy it more. We were there three hours an the DJ NEVER played a single decent 2 step. We requested some music that he never played… all he wanted to do was flirt with girls. We talked to the manager who blew us off… but did admit that he knew nothing about CW music. How do you run a dance bar with a DJ and a manager that don’t know music??? Even the Hip Hop sucked and we like Hip Hop! Cactus in Greeley used to have a DJ that my girl friend though looked like Dana Garvey (but with long hair). he played AWESOME music and Cactus was a treat. Now it will be a LONG time before we bother to drive 30 mile to the Cactus again… unless they get a manager and a DJ that care about getting people on the dance floor and know something about music.

I like to party. I like to drink. I like to be taken care of in a quick and friendly fashion. I like to feel like I’m in a safe environment. I like to meet fun people, like myself. Cactus Canyon has all the above plus more. The cheap drink specials, the great mix of music (a lot of country but hey, IT“S A COUNTRY BAR), the knowledgeable and speedy bartenders, the personal and safe feel of the security staff, the sexy shot and cocktail girls, everything was to done perfectly so me and my friends could enjoy our night out. The staff realizes that we could of chosen to go anywhere but made us feel like we had made the right choice to come here from the get go. Stop by and see all the fun your missing and if you see that cute manager Chuck give him a squeeze on the cheek for me (thanks for everything big guy :)).

There’s just no replacement for Cactus Canyon in my heart… I had so many fun, rowdy nights in college here! We were in town for a reunion of sorts and found Christian to be super helpful in personalizing and planning our night out! Fantastic personalized service and cheap drinks… cactus, you’ll always have my 75 cent drink loving heart!

Cacuts Canyon is a fast sinking ship. The facilitys in them selevs are half rated handmi down systems that were manufactured in the late eightys. On top of that staff security, owners and managers are garbage they are overyly aggresive and new respect for the law or patrons. The music is a drag the main reason that people even seem to go their are for the cheap drinks. Sadly enough to say though the greeley night life is a sad sad ordeal. Some one please open a real club and bring some fun into this collage town before the colloge shuts down as well.
