Riverside Ballroom

We had our wedding here in September 2015. The staff was great, they helped out with all the small details we may have overlooked. The food was excellent! We are continually getting compliments on how great the entire experience was. Thank you for everything!

We had our wedding reception here in the Crystal Ballroom earlier this month. I’m so glad we decided to go with with Riverside Ballroom, they were so easy to work with and so accommodating!
There was a wedding in our room the night before so we weren’t able to setup the night before, which they usually allow. However, since we didn’t have that option, Riverside allowed us to drop off everything for the reception anytime throughout the week prior. We had created our own centerpieces which needed to be filled with water, then a floating candle needed to be placed on top and lit. All we had to do was drop them off in boxes and label them for which ones were for the head table and which ones went on guest tables… they set them up for us the day of our wedding for no extra charge! We also dropped off several other things like the card box, party favors, photos, bar signs, cake flavor signs, etc. and again, just need to label what went where. They handled the rest. It really took a lot off our shoulders. As it got closer to Saturday we just had less and less to worry about, which is an amazing feeling after all the wedding stress leading up to the big day!
I would highly recommend any event at this venue. We even had some strange requests like throwing fake flower petals during the bouquet toss. We offered to sweep them up directly after (which we did), but they had absolutely no problem with it and were ready with the broom we requested right when we needed it.
The food was great, served warm, and every table had their food within minutes of the first server appearing. We had almost 300 guests, so that was very impressive! They seem to have a good relationship with several vendors in the area, so everything worked out so smoothly with the cake delivery and DJ… I had nothing to worry about all day with Riverside!
The shuttle options from 3 different hotels was a great benefit as well. Perfect for out-​of-​town guests, which we had a lot of since we live in San Diego. Needless to say, planning from afar was not an issue.

Attended the Preble Football Banquet here. It is a big hall that was great for this event and could be great for weddings, reunions, etc. we were served family style chicken dinner and was it delicious. I was quite surprised it was that good. No complaints here.
