I needed more work space in my studio to spread out so started shopping around for a project table when I found this company. Diane seemed down to earth and was very friendly. There was constant communication, from emails to phone calls. I placed my 50% deposit and waited. Eight weeks passed, no word. I waited the additional two weeks then emailed to inquire about my order only to find out that they didn’t even start! That is insane. Steve promised he would get started on it and it would be sent out in 2.5 weeks. Time came and gone. Emails after emails, after phone calls after phone calls, we could not get a hold of anyone! Now, over 14 weeks later. We had enough, called our bank (we love USAA), put in our claim and were blessed enough to recover our entire funds.
Before writing this, I received the first response from them for a long time stating that they cannot provide me with the product and that I must find other means to get my money back because they owe a lot of money to the freight company. This is ridiculous. They charge us an arm and a leg over $ 350 to cover the cost of shipping and they have the gull to use that excuse?! My impression is, they took on orders, upon orders, upon orders, not considering whether they could complete them just so they can keep the cash flowing in. This is a shady company with no ethics and horrible business practices. Do not trust this company or the owners.

I was contacted by the Arlington, MN Police Department (I have no clue how they got my number) this morning informing that this company has changed their name to «Red Barn Handcrafted Furniture». This company is currently under criminal investigation. I was also informed that they have not filed for bankruptcy as of yet. Diane claimed that they already have had to claim for bankruptcy and are in the process of it! She also sent me a long message via Unilocal about her and her family’s hardships through all this with harassment claims and such. Apparently everything is a lie because they are now trying the same scheme again with their new website and Facebook account. Please report their facebook page and get them off the web (search for Red Barn Handcrafted Furniture). You can find the contact number for the MN Police Department on Unilocal by searching for House2Home Custom Furniture Arlington, MN. They have two listings on Unilocal — Arlington, MN and Green Isle MN. They also list themselves as being located in Minneapolis, MN. With their new website «Red Barn Handcrafted Furniture» they are listing their location as Hamburg, MN. These frauds make me sick, yuck!
So far I have successfully reported their Facebook account, Ebay Classifieds, Craigslist, Ad Post, Backpage, OLX and Etsy. Please keep your eyes peeled for these creeps.
