Low key & right across from NASA GSFC, great location for employees to grab a quick (& delicious) bite. I had the soup of the day (Maryland crab) and hoped for a crab cake, but unfortunately it was unavailable today. Counter guy (very warm smiles!) recommended the grilled salmon wrap, claiming it was very popular. After the first bite, I can see why! Loved the crab soup too, as well as their house made potato chips with ranch&honey mustard dip mix! Must try. And super cheap.

This is one of my favorite places to go because I know that I will get excellent customer service but exceptional food! Every time I come I always get the chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat toasted with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and hots… trust me when I say I DO NOT STRAY! I haven’t even tried anything else on their menu which is sad because they have A LOT on their menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and cater your events and parties too! They even have homemade chips!
One day, I promise to try something different on their menu, but it’s something about a good olé homemade chicken salad sandwich!

I’ve yet to be disappointed, I’ve been happy with every sandwich I’ve ordered. Chicken salad and tuna melt seem like mundane choices, but they come out great and I think I order these as much as anything else.
Note that it’s adjacent to a Ledo Pizza. Orion’s sign on the building simply says «DELI,» but someone who’s unfamiliar with the place might look at it and think it says «LEDO PIZZA DELI» because the signs are next to each other (this actually happened to someone visiting us; they couldn’t find the «Orion»).

This is one of the best Delis around the Greenbelt area. A favorite lunch stop for NASA employees just across the street. There renowned specialty are the home fried chips and the special secret dipping sauce. Everything on the menu is superbly prepared with a taste that waters your mouth. Tharp use Boar’s Head premium deli meats in their sandwiches. You will not be disappointed!

I like Orion. Probably my #1 option for a good, quick and convenient lunch when I am at work. I should order from them more often actually.
I usually get a steak & cheese with fries whenever I order, but have tried other sandwiches. Their food is pretty good and service is fast. No complaints.

I like this place, but it is too divey to bring my mom or aunties or posh friends. I come for the good-quality Boar’s Head meats and sweet potato fries. It is a straight-up gentile deli without a single frill and plenty of dusty corners. Fallen stars for dust, an old ATM and other weirdness in the bathroom and for most everything on the menu between slices of bread. I come back for the sweet potato fries. They are that good.

Great service. Great good. George usually takes my order whenever I call in. I’m pretty sure by now he recognize my voice. lol. I normally get for breakfast the egg sandwich with onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. Toasted in white. Very flavorful. Anything in the afternoon I will get their steak and cheese. One of the best steak and cheese around here. I wished their toast could toast the bread a little better. But I can’t complain too much. I always order their «baby sub». Even their baby sub. Is still really big. Full of meat. I also add on bell peppers and hot peppers. So much better! Or sometimes I mix it up with some eggs in there. Don’t knock it until you try it. The crab cakes here are HUGE. Lumps of crab meat. Their soups are pretty good too. It’s pretty hard to keep track since their soups changes daily.

Yumm-oh! For starters, the sweet potato fries were a bit on the soft side so I plan to save those for my daughter. The sandwiches are excellent! I ordered a Tuscan veggie sandwich and was amazed at the flavor it executed. I also ordered the shrimp wrap which is delicious. I will certainly be returning to try other seafood and veggie options.

This is long overdue! This is near my job and I eat lunch here practically everyday… Nothing tastes bad here. I have even stepped out on trying different sandwiches such as a Reube, Steak and Cheese, Chicken salad, I have killed the Turkey Club… onions rings are to die for, home made chips are a hot seller, but not for me. I am not a fan of pasta salad but there’s is for me. Rice pudding is tasty with or without the Cinnamon. Finally I am upset that they no longer serve their homemade lemonade! It was

One of the few places I found in the area which I would get seafood dishes from. It’s quite busy and they live up to their «gourmet» name. They put out chips and dip samples which is a novel idea.

Not bad at all! This was a bit difficult to find (the sign out front actually just says «DELI!» in big block letters), but once you’re inside you know what’s up. A nice big menu board shows all the options, and when we mentioned we wanted to grab breakfast we were handed a nice one-sheet menu by the counter guy.
I ended up with a Western Omlette that was LOADED with ham, peppers, and onions, some nice grits, and a decent side of corned beef hash. I appreciated the ready to go cups of hot sauce — it was just the zip the omelet needed.
Best part? $ 7 for all that and a couple bottles of water. If you’re looking for a place to get a good cheap breakfast in Greenbelt that didn’t come from a McSomething, this is your place to go.
