Tryed them out for the first time yesterday first of all they are very pricey 10.00 for a bland steak and cheese hogie. The restaurant setup leaves a lot to be desired. Employees running around like chickens with their heads cut off. As far as the food goes it was so bland my steak and cheese tasted like it was missing something. I will give Tonys a 3⁄5 rating not good not horrible would i come back anytime soon probably not.

Prime example of some business owner that does not want to be part of the business in least not too much it seems. The lights on the walls are filthy, the pizza boxes are being pilled on the ground being contaminated, the table was not cleaned, and the guest can enjoy eating and getting their food on a metal prison plates. The foam cups are cheap for the high prices of this restaurant without waters. The foods is ok, I say ok and not poor because the pizza dough was good, but beside the dough it was missing seasonings, calzone are overloaded with cheese great if you want a heart attack in the next 30 min perhaps. But my favorite was the torte slice on the menu for a gentle $ 365 per slice lol. The apparently the owner is from Italy, well if you look on the menu Tira Misu is wonderfully spelled lol, the owner should actually review the menu because beside that there was way too much on this, meaning that most of it is most likely canned and not fresh.

Huge fan of this place. Very extensive menu, reasonable priced too. The pizza tastes like New York style pizza and the dinners are very filling. Had the baked ziti dinner and tastes homemade. A+ Tony

I am new to the area and was interested in eating at a place that wasn’t a chain(McDonald’s, Hardees, Pizza Hut, etc). Sadly that is the majority of what can be found around here. I tried Ton’y and I LOVED it! The food was delicious and came in such a large portion. The price was a little high, but considering how much food you get I think it is worth it. I got some pasta and it lasted me two whole meals. The staff are always friendly and I have never had any complaints about their wait. The only thing that stops me from giving them 5 stars is sometimes I feel they are not completely organized, for instance once I was not given my drink while waiting for my food and I had to actually flag a worker down and ask for my drink. Turns out the server wasn’t told that I had ordered a drink from the person at the cashier. Slight confusion, but the server was very apologetic and got me my drink right away. I definitely recommend eating here to anyone who loves Italian Food.

We have ordered from here before, and we’ve gotten home from picking it up to find that they’ve forgotten something. This time we called to ask for a refund for the item. Well, you would have thought we had asked for the moon! It was a $ 4 piece of cake that they forgot. First the girl who answered the phone seemed clueless. She put a manager on(after telling him our call was about *change*, not *cake*) who said they couldn’t give refunds for online orders. This seemed ridiculous, so I asked for the general manager. I was given over to the owner Tony. First, he repeats the line that they can’t do refunds on online orders. Then my husband talked to him and Tony proceeded to talk over, yell at, and ignore my husband. He actually told us that it was my husband’s fault that our order was wrong! I called Menu Drive, the service that they use to do online orders, and Menu Drive confirmed that Tony’s has the ability to do refunds for their online orders. Tony finally agreed to mail us a check back for the amount they stiffed us for. We’ll see if it happens. Considering Tony’s behavior and attitude when we spoke with him, I don’t hold out much hope. It’s a shame — some of their food was fairly decent, but we won’t be going back there again.

Tony’s overall is great; we’ve been eating at the Greencastle Tony’s as well as their original shop across the line in Maryland for many years. Authentic italian pizza, and all of the pasta dishes include wonderful garlic bread or bread sticks and an impressive salad. BUT, avoid the chicken cacciatore; it’s the world’s worst, with whole wings, drumsticks, thighs, breast pieces complete with skin, bone, gristle, fat, etc. mixed with the pasta in a heavy sauce embellished only by giant mushroom slices. Virtually inedible!

Tony’s is always the«go to» for pizza in Greencastle. Great pizza and other italian specialties but I’d steer clear from the things like french fries and wings. It’s a pizza shop so stick to the basics and you won’t be disappointed

Not really good. Basically if all the other pizza places are closed then MAYBE this is an option. I don’t know what the other reviewer from Cali was talking about not being too much grease. I’ve eaten here several times and the pizza has had too much grease EVERYTIME. Maybe pizza in Cali in extra greasy or something? VERYEXPENSIVE for what it is. $ 10 for a medium cheese pizza. No toppings. Except extra grease. If it was really good, home style pizza that wouldn’t be too bad but for this quality no thanks. I’d rather hit Domino’s and get a large with 3 toppings for $ 8. Or to compare apples to apples Dom’s has a medium 2 topping for $ 6. So yeah $ 4 more with no toppings and something that taste like you picked it up in your high school cafeteria isn’t a good value in my opinion. No I do not or have not ever had any affiliation with any other pizza place. I was strictly using that as an example.

I want to preface this with I am a California girl. So I am used to CA pizza. That said, I love this place and we come here every time we come to Greencastle to see family. We pretty much always get the lunch special and there is just something magical to me about the pizza. It is just right — not too greasy or saucy or dry or… anything. It is just plain delish!

Pizza is hit or miss. Sometimes it is cooked perfect and other times it’s still raw and the dough is chewy. They also continue to use styrofoam containers where the hot oil of fries or sticks melts right through. So all you taste is cheap styrofoam. Use tinfoil or something. I’m leaning more towards brother’s pizza right now

Decent size menu but we chose to stick with the pizza. We ordered at the counter a white pizza which was way over priced and very small and took forever to make it to the table. It was extremely quiet and its a very cold décor. It echoed in there. Their sodas were expensive also. Husband will not go back, it was just a large disappointment.
