I drove my laptop in from Boston to deal with it because 1) they have great hours which makes dropping off and picking up easy. 2) they have a great location which makes dropping off and picking up easy 3) they answer the phone and answer questions which increases my confidence that they will respect my time and confidential info contained on the technology that I’m handing over 4) they diagnosed and fixed the problem and called to tell me when it was done 5) when I had the same problem when I got home I turned around and took it back and they fixed that problem for no charge and 6) called again to tell me it was really done and what they’d done to fix it and indeed, it is fixed.
All of this for very minor inconvenience and well below what a new computer or repair time elsewhere would have cost.

I had been having problems with the screen on my laptop going totally white at times. I was not looking forward to the idea of buying a new PC (mine is 5+ yrs old).
So I took it into Laptop & Computer Repair on Main St in Greenfield to see if they could, in fact, fix my bleepin’ computer.
I was helped by Dan who diagnosed the possible problem on the spot, my screen was dying. I left it for them to make sure that was indeed the issue. I was quoted a very reasonable price to replace my screen should, that turn out to be the fix.
They called to let me know that I did need a new screen, and the price would be exactly what was quoted.
I gave them the okay, and had my laptop back within a couple of days. A faster turn around than I expected.
Bottom line: they were friendly, fast, professional and reasonable. I am super glad I went to them and am equally pleased to have a service like theirs in our town.
I highly recommend you stop in with any computer problems you might be having, before you surrender to buying a new PC.
