Great pizza, great venue, great service! They even let our son have a look at the pizza truck they use for catering. We had one with bacon and potato called the New Englander I think, it was delicious as was the asparagus salad. Would definitely recommend.

I like thin crust pizza, but I’m not a huge fan of it. However, I have to give credit to the fact they use good ingredients, and that you can customize it to your liking. We ordered two«red pies»(aka marinara):(1) fresh mozz, arugula, basil(2) fresh mozz, nona’s meatballs. My favorite is their nona’s meatballs. Such great flavor without being so complicated, e.g. not too spicy, not overly seasoned, etc. The people who work there deserve 5 stars — friendly and great service. Downstairs is a speakeasy that serves from the same pizza menu. Their seating is both indoor and outdoor — can accommodate cozy and social. We picked the bar that faces out to the historical district alley. Great location.

1943 Pizza Bar was absolutely delightful. My girlfriends and I were staying in a rental in Greenport, and they were so incredibly accomodating. They let us pick up pizza a bit after closing time — and it was straight out of the oven. Not only were we so appreciative — we were SO impressed with the quality. I am back in Austin, Texas craving it now!

Happened upon this place by accident while looking for brix and rye, the associated bar. Pizza was so delicious. Very light and crisp! Got margarita and then prosciutto and arugula. Only complaint was that the prosciutto was a little over cooked on the pizza. Finished with a mint chip ice cream sandwich and loved every bite. Cool atmosphere with outdoor seating and ambient lighting. 10⁄10 would recommend

Yummy pizza! Small and cozy atmosphere, love watching the pizza cook in the fire brick oven. Our pizza was the house and it was delicious. The cheese was fresh a and the basil and tomatoes were perfect.

Great spot for a bite after(or before!) a day of swilling vino in the North Fork. My favorite dish: the meatballs, which were so hearty and comforting, blanketed in red sauce and melted cheese. Delish! We also had a red pie and a white pie covered in various assortments of veggies. Very tasty and highly recommended! This is also in a really cute corner of Greenport, worth seeing at the very least.

Best pie till NYC! Pricey and worth it. Very nice wait staff. Eat in or take out. Better meatballs then my Italian grandma made(forgive me Grandma K, but its true). Enjoy this food at 1943 or go down stairs to brix and rye for a proper cocktail and 1943 food

I thought this Pizza was fantastic and a charming outdoor atmosphere — almost european. Great fresh ingredients. No wait when we went but suspect because the place is so small at times there could be. Service was friendly, quick and polite. Great great place.

Really delicious brick oven pizza that you can pick from the specials, or customize from the different toppings that are available. We went for a red pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni, caramelized onions and additional fresh mozzarella. It was so fresh, hot and tasty. There isn’t a lot of seating, fortunately when my husband and I walked in there were two tables available. Once we sat down and another party came in, then anyone else that came in seemed like they would either try stopping back or would go somewhere else. Then a huge group of people came in, at least 10 and they were insistent that they wanted to stay to get a pizza before getting some tacos somewhere else. They seemed like they had already started drinking and were being a little obnoxious but the staff handled it nicely and accommodated them with two tables. This place is a great place to get fresh, brick oven pizza with unique toppings.

Great pizza and prices. It’s a small spot, but worth the wait for a table. Ice cream sandwiches are a must-try. Be careful, it’s frozen solid when served. Eat pizza and be happy!

Return? No. Perfectly fine but didn’t really like the sauce Atmosphere(3) Limited indoor space. We ate outside on the deck. Food(3+) Half cheese. half pepperoni pizza(3 — nice thin crust but sauce not to my liking) Service(3) Friendly Cost = $ 14 before tax/tip

very good pizza on north fork but… the lines can be long and service while overall friendly, is annoying because of the lack of a hostess. basically youre standing on line and no one can tell how long the wait will be…

Think of it as the Grimaldi’s of long island. After having visited Lavender by the Bay, my family and I were hungry but didn’t know where to eat. So, I went on my trusty Unilocal App and found this place, after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I was hooked. At first sight it was a small yet pretty place, with great outdoor seating. Then when we looked at the menu, we realized that it was pretty much like Grimaldi’s but the pizza is smaller and there is definitely more pizza topping options(which we loved) and unlike Grimaldi’s and other pizza places there were actually a range of pizza choices such as: the white pizza with garlic sauce, tomato and mozzarella pizza, and just tomato pizza. The staff was friendly and the service was fast(which we loved, because we were starving.) We ordered a white pizza with garlic sauce with crispy bacon and a tomato and mozzarella pizza with Italian sausage. The white pizza was so yummy and perfect for garlic lovers. But my favorite had to be the tomato and mozzarella one with the Italian sausage. Oh my! It was so tasty and so yummy I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was so good, even my picky dad liked it which is pretty wow. Especially, when all he wanted was a little pizza pit stop. Definitely will come again!!!

Casual. Slightly off the beaten path. Very quaint. Friendlier folks you will not find! Extremely accommodating — they will make your pie any way that you like. Delicious pizza! Delicious Caesar salad! Fresh ingredients! Outdoor seating. The margarita pie(garlic, olive oil, fresh mozzarella, sliced fresh tomatoes, & fresh basil) was really, really good! If you’re out on the North Fork and you’re looking for casual dining, give them a try!

Quality pizza in Greenport. They were one of the few places open when we got in late on a Friday night and it was super satisfying. Good selection of beers and wines. The pizza is a «build your own» model. I have to say, I generally prefer to have suggestions to choose from, but our selections worked out well. They have great options for toppings and the service was quick and courteous. Would definitely come back if in a Greenport.

Really enjoyed the pizza, but the apps stole the show! Team was really accommodating to allergies and really knew what they were doing when it came to allergies. We were surprised when they offered a gluten free pizza, which tasted amazing. What’s more they took care to cook and serve it on a dedicated tray. Near on par with New York icons like Grimaldii’s
