Charming Charlie – Greensboro

Finally got to charming Charlie’s last night, let me just say the jewelry was beautiful and the selection was great! But I was really overwhelmed, I didn’t know where to start and found it frustrating! I did purchase some very beautiful pieces that I look forward to wearing, I plan to go back when I have more time to just look.
My other more major complaint was the quality of service I received from the associate, she was distracted and I felt I was being rush, so much that she rang me up took my payment and started to walk off without giving me a receipt which I had to ask for!

This was my first time in a Charming Charlie store and I am hooked. This is your go to place for cute accessories. What I like most about this place is that the store is organized by color. So if you know you need a pink clutch or earrings you just go to the part of the store that is pink. This store also sells a few clothing items but the clothes seem to be on par with Forever 21 quality but only more expensive.
I can’t really say much about customer service because I only spoke to someone at the cash register. But I am perfectly okay with this because sometimes I feel like employees can be a little too overbearing.

After finding my dress for my law school’s Ball, I now needed accessories and my first thought since I was already in Greensboro was to go to CC. If you are an accessories junky like me then this place is paradise. I love that they separate all the colors in different sections around the store. Since I am need of jewelry for a formal event, I loved that CC had a section of the store dedicated to such occasions. I was able to easily find what I was looking for and even a few things that I probably didn’t.
Buyer beware, if you love accessories make sure to limit yourself or you really will spend a ton of money on jewelry. But who cares, you will look so pretty!!!

When this store first opened in Friendly Center, I thought it looked like another one of those cheesy women’s accessory stores — you know the kind. Overpriced, ugly items meant for the fashionless and over 40 crowd. Christmas sweaters. Patchwork vests. Accessories for Crocs. You get the idea.
HOW WRONG I WAS.
Charming Charlie is filled to the brim with clothes, shoes, hats, purses, jewelry, sunglasses, accessories… and most everything is super cute, chic, and reasonably priced. Their shoes in particular are SUPER fierce. (If my straight guy friends look at my shoes and go, «Wow, those are awesome!» then those shoes are clearly magic.) And so inexpensive! I’ve never spent more than $ 40 on anything here.
With a few exceptions, everything I’ve purchased from CC has earned me at least three or four, «Oh my god, I love that, where did you get it?!» from friends and strangers alike.
As for the store itself… it’s big, and organized by color story, with shoes and racks of sale items peppered throughout. I used to not like how the store was organized by color, but it ends up making the navigation of the store really intuitive. (You can also easily skip over colors you don’t like — me, I skip over the orange section. Orange is ghastly on me. I digress.) The salespeople here are wonderful and super friendly.
Definitely a welcome addition to Friendly Center!
