Arrived at KK at 9:08 pm in the drive thru line and received my order at 9:44 pm. I timed the orders being filled where it took 9 minutes for KK to fill the order for two dozen donuts for ONLYONE car. The thing is, once you’re in the drive thru lane close to the building, you are trapped by the curbs on each side of the drive; you can’t get out of the line! KK donuts are good, but not THAT good. Good management would have offered a coupon for a discount for future visits. Donut World is SO much better, but they close at 9:00 pm

I finally had a hot doughnut! Yay! Moved to North Carolina and one of the first food one is recommended to try is Krispy Kreme Doughnut when the red light is on. This was certainly worth while. I walked in and feel like a 4 year old. When you walk through the side door you have the full view site of seeing of a doughnut being shaped, gently placed in a fryer, placed on conveyor belt, glazed with sugar through a melted sugar storm(well warm sugar dripping from an overhead.) the Krispy Kreme employees place them in boxes, but the doughnuts have to perfect or they are purged.(I personally believe they should donate them as a treat to a shelter.) the place is pretty neat. They have little hats by the register for customers to pick up as treat. I only one warm doughnut… But it was enough to make me smile :)

Light, fluffy, sweet, hot and fresh off the line doughnuts are a little round slice of heaven. Pick up a dozen for $ 3.99 after a Panthers win… that’s a pretty generous special. My all time favorite though is the chocolate ice cream filled with a cartoon of milk. One of the few desserts I really crave every once in awhile.

A good dohnut is hard to beat and krispy kreme sure does it well. My favorite is the pumpkin spice dohnuts that they make around Halloween time.

Nothing is better than Krispy Kreme except a Krispy Kreme when the Red Sign is on. Enjoyed todays visit with my son, enjoying a hot fresh glazed doughnut right off the conveyor. Plus a dozen to go. Good to the last bite.

Great customer service! I think I like this place best because they rotate different flavor doughnuts more than the other Krispy Kremes. Strawberry frosted, a strawberry slice of heaven!

I didn’t grow up in NC, and so I didn’t know about Krispy Kreme; I knew of its pre-frozen, deceptively tasty competitors — no factories visible there, that’s for sure. As it expanded beyond the Southeast, there were glimmers of hope for people like me. Now, KK is a regular in my life, and that’s a great thing. This shop has very friendly staff, and the operation on the whole is very orderly; it’s a bright, fun shop to sit in, and the smell is seductively donut-ty. I love that they have a drive-thru though, be warned, they mess up orders a bit more than they should! However, I forgave them last night, because instead of giving me the blueberry cake donut I wanted, they gave me an original glazed HOT out of the oven, and I practically wanted to cry tears of sweet joy but was too busy stuffing my face with the effective holy grail of donut experiences. They offer seasonal donuts, but this is the right place for you if you want a classic, relatively no-frills donut that tastes exactly like the last time you had Krispy Kreme.

I grew up in NC and as a kid would remember the minor car accidents which would occur when the«Hot Donuts Now» sign would turn on as cars along Battleground Avenue would frantically rush to pull into the parking lot. I also remember my forehead pressed against the cool glass watching the freshly fried doughnuts move down the conveyor belt to be drenched with hot sugary glaze, and salivating. My mother’s voice would break the dreamy silence, «You can have just one.» My one hot glazed doughnut would melt once placed in my mouth. That’s the difference between Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts(ugh) which seems to dominate my current hometown Chicago and the northeast. The hot glazed doughnuts melt in your mouth and it’s impossible to have one. I once ate a dozen in 10 minutes because they’re simply to die for hot off the conveyor belt. It’s sounds funny, but I always time my Krispy Kreme visits when visiting my parents. The«Hot Donuts Now» sign turns on hourly. Heaven better have a Krispy Kreme.

The main event is the plain glazed, especially if you can get them while they are hot out of the oven. Service can be slow, but its worth the inconvenience and I like that they stay open relatively late.

Always an attentive staff and a clean restaurant. I hate sticky things and I can’t believe that I’ve NEVER sat at a sticky table or counter in 30 years. It’s a nostalgic treat, but if you want a premium donut, hit Donut World.

Hot! Now! Gone! Clean store, good service, way too many doughnuts consumed…
