This is a great minor league ballpark in a great setting in downtown Greensboro. Every seat is a good one(some people actually watch baseball). The first base side is more family oriented with the third base side being more adult oriented. Concessions are located on a mezzanine above the seats affording a view of the game. There are ample concession stands so lines tend to move fast. The ‘Hoppers really entertain the fans with contests between innings and fireworks after games on the weekend. Of course, the black lab bat-dogs are a hit during and after the game. A fun place to see a ballgame and have an enjoyable evening.

I have had a commercial account with Newbridge for ten years. They have always provided excellent service and products. I recently refinanced my home, and received a great loan, with better than expected rates and fees. Alan Efting was extremely professional, accommodating, accurate and timely. There were no surprises(except lower lower rate than originally quoted), and everything was executed as promised. I highly recommend Newbridge Bank and Alan Efting.

We have been wanting to come out to see the Grasshoppers play since we’ve moved to NC. We actually came here on a whim after shopping at Friendly Center all day. We found the stadium pretty easy. It was only about 2 miles from Friendly Center. We parked at a $ 4 church lot a block away from the stadium. The stadium looked nice and new(er). The brick façade is nice. It’s too bad that the park isn’t oriented so that the skyline is able to be seen from all seats. If you sit along the 3rd baseline, you can. Ticket prices were pretty fair. $ 7 general admission, $ 10 box and $ 11 premium. We opted for $ 11 behind the plate not realizing the game was practically sold out. We were seated in the middle of a row, surrounded by people. Apparently Grasshopper fans aren’t accustomed to the courtesy of standing up when people need to get in/out of the row. Being 5 months pregnant, carrying a one year old and squeezing in and out the row was a hassle. We ended up forfeiting our seats because we were getting claustrophobic and ended up walking around and viewing the rest of the game from the outfield/lawn area. We didn’t eat but checked out what options they offered. Looked like a great variety of foods which would suit almost every taste: typical hot dogs and sausages, popcorn, pretzels but also cheesesteaks, BBQ and Mexican stands. Prices seemed ok. My husband enjoyed a couple Natty Green brews. There was a kids zone/playground at the corner of right field. This place looked pretty chaotic. Yowza. I don’t know if I could step foot in there without having a few beers in me. I’d go insane. All in all, it’s a great ball park and we’ll definitely be back!!!

We had a fabulous time at such a wonderful price! We were in the area to meet with our DJ for our wedding and saw the ballpark. It looked like a game was about to start. So we found some free parking on the street and went to buy tickets. I think it cost $ 11 for each person for the best seats in the house, right behind home plate. During the game they had black lab retrieve foul balls(being a dog person I just loved this!!). They had a playground for kids and lots of activities during the game to get kids involved. It was a Sunday so it’s family day. Each day they have something different so check their website beforehand to see what’s going on that day. They also had tie shirts they threw(I was very lucky and caught one), sumo wrestling and umba lumpas running around. While we wear watching the game we enjoyed a beer and hot dog. Both were good. A player hit a home run and fireworks went off. That was fun to see. It was my first baseball game and I can’t wait to go back.

Such a beautiful ballpark and stadium. This cozy ballpark sits right into downtown Greensboro and is a fan of teams as well, boosting many players’ home run tallies due to its size and dimensions. There’s not a bad seat in the house and with Thirsty Thursdays from Natty Greene’s, weekend fireworks and Sunday games with the family, you can do no better! Go Hoppers!

This place is by far the most fun I’ve ever had at a minor league baseball game. The Grasshoppers are a Single A affiliate of the Marlins. The team is fun to watch, the atmosphere is electric. Each of the local brewery’s beers are 1 dollar on ‘Thirsty Thursdays.‘ But for me it was the entertainment. The ‘bat dog’ who runs out a couple innings a game and shags bats for the team — then runs the bases at the end of the game. Then she ran out and pooped on the infield — not sure i that was planned or not haha. The opposing team committed an error and the announcer promptly came on the intercom and noted ‘that play was brought to you by the Triad Vision Center.‘ This is a must-see at least once during the year for even non-baseball fans.

I had been wanting to attend a Grasshopper’s game since the first time my boyfriend drove me by the stadium. We ended up going to what I think was the last game of the season and everything was a dollar, admission, beer, food, etc. I’ll be back next year for sure. I was really impressed with the stadium for being a minor league team.
